Out on a Limb with My Favorite Things!

I can not tell you how excited I am to finally share this post with you!  I am guest designing with My Favorite Things this month.........did I ever get a fabulous month to be their guest!!  Yes, I know they heard me squeal in Florida when I got my package!  :)

NewReleaseCountdown_Day7

I've been a fan of Lisa Johnson's work for a looonnnggg time.......this set she designed this month is just fabulous!  I'm showing off the Out on a Limb stamp set which has a coordinating Die-namics set that can be used with the stamps or alone.  Love this!  Everything will be available for purchase in the MFT store on September 16, 10PM EST.

I pulled out my Distress Markers, colored onto my stamp, and spritzed with water.  Stamping with this technique gives such fun results!  Instead of the traditional layered card, I skewed my brown and Tangy Orange panels just a bit.  (I did trim down my base to allow for the overage so this would still fit in an A2 envie.)

I did add some other small details......some Wink of Stella to the leaves and a tiny scallop negative strip to both the top and the bottom of the panel.  (I used the tiny scallop border die from Blueprints 19....releasing this month!)

Make sure you visit the MFT Blog for a list of the new products and links to more inspiration!

The way you colored the leaves is very awesome, and the scallops at top and bottom add an elegant touch!

Very beautiful! I love how you gave the leaves multicolors just like if they were really on a tree during the Fall season!
