Altenew and Pinkfresh Studio / Thankful for you

Hello!
I am sharing some quick cards I made using the new collaboration stamp set from Altenew and Pinkfresh Studio!

Celebrate Us is a layering floral set that is perfect for CAS cards!  I created these in no time!  I paired the florals with the Gradient Stripes Die from Altenew which I used as an impression plate for less bulk for my cards.  All inks were Altenew (my favorite layering inks!)

Altenew / CAS(E) this Sketch!

Build a Flower--Rose

Hello!  I am back today with another card for another challenge.......this time, it's CAS(E) this Sketch!  The owner/sketch designer for CAS(E) this Sketch! just happens to be a great friend, one that in fact I get to give a big hug next week!  Can't wait to see you Chrissy!

A few weeks ago my LSS got the gorgeous Altenew Build a Flower: Rose stamp set in and I had to have it!  I played around with stamping colors and layers with all my Altenew inks which work beautifully with these layering stamps!  All the guess work has been done when using these inks!

So, I thought I'd finally put these gorgeous roses onto a card for the challenge at CAS(E) this Challenge!  Here I used the Cherry Blossom Collection (Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Rubellite, and Razzleberry) and the Green Fields Collection (Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen).  To finish, I stamped my sentiment (from Avery Elle Floral Frame).

Fantasy Floral Die

Sweet.....a second card!  This one was just for fun!  More florals but this time using the Fantasy Floral 3D Dies from Altenew.  I think I found a favorite new product as these are amazing to layer in just about every color you would want!  Here I had used cardstock from Reverse Confetti for my floral layers.  As a backdrop, I blended Broken China Distress Oxide ink over the Watercolor Stripes Stencil from Altenew!

Pretty Pink Posh and Altenew Collaboration Blog Hop

AltenewCollab

Hello!  I'm excited to be joining the rest of the Pretty Pink Posh DT and Altenew for a Collaboration Blog Hop!

I worked with the Sketched Evergreen stamp set from Altenew and paired it with some Pretty Pink Posh products.

I've stamped my Evergreen tree in Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, and Evergreen Altenew Crisp Inks.  I can't say enough good things about these inks!  They are so PERFECT for layering stamps like this one!  This stamp set is gorgeous with its details like the tree stand stamps!  I love the bold sentiments included (however I didn't choose to use one on this card).

I added a gold glittered bow die from the Twine and Bows Dies from Pretty Pink Posh.  I embellished my tree with 4mm Metallic Gold Sequins and added my stamped sentiment with foam adhesive.

Layered Lily.....♥♥♥

Lily2

Hello!  I thought I'd share ONE of my THREE cards I made during our Stamping Away weekend!  I wasn't real productive but I had so much fun!

One of the sets I played with was this amazing layering set from Altenew called Layered Lily.  I played around a lot with this but decided to do a collage of blooms in the lower right corner with LOTS of masking and layering of color.  All the inks used were pigment inks from Fresh Ink, Avery Elle, and Amuse.  My simple sentiment, from Label Love, was stamped in bold black, trimmed, and added with foam adhesive.

Speaking of Stamping Away........I've had lots of inquiries about our weekend.  We keep a running list of people (usually Mid-west girls) and then add in where we can.  Laurie Willison is my wonderful co-host for the weekend.  The home where we host is absolutely incredible.  Seriously.....magical.  Here's a photo of the group from February:

PPP and Altenew Blog Hop!

Amy-Altenew2

Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh collaboration blog hop with Altenew!  You are in for a treat today!  You pair PPP dies and sequins with some of the most gorgeous stamps from Altenew......match made in heaven!

I've used Vintage Roses and coordinating dies from Altenew.  This is a multi-layering stamp set that is amazing.  I've layered my roses over the Decorative Tag 1 from Pretty Pink Posh.  The white panel was diecut using the straight border die from Stitched Borders 2.  I love how it ties in with the stitching from the Decorative Tag.  My sentiment is from the Label Love stamp set from Altenew and was added with foam adhesive.  To finish off, I added some Gold sequins and a tiny diecut bow from the Twine & Bows die set from Pretty Pink Posh.

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Winter Wonder

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!

We have a new sponsor, Altenew, for this challenge!  A randomly selected participant will receive a stamp set of choice from the Altenew shop, while the LEAD will be invited as a Guest Designer in a future challenge!

If I could say I have a stamp crush right now, it would be the Vintage Roses set from Altenew.  Oh my.....this set is BRILLIANT!  For a multi-step stamp lover like me, this set is a DREAM!

Going with the colors of the inspiration photo, I stamped many roses and leaves and fussy cut them out.  You don't need lots of ink colors to make this set work.  If you use the stamping off method, then you can achieve the softer versions of a dark ink!  Perfect for this type of stamp set!

For my card, I used Vintage Cream (PTI) for the solid base of the rose, Provincial Gray (Fresh Ink) for the second step, and Delicata Silver for the last detail stamp.  I love the muted look to the roses!!!  My rose panel was layered over a piece of silver foil cardstock and the edges of the base were scored to frame in my focal point.  A few Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added to finish off the elegance!

15july2014#2

Today marks the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge 1st Anniversary!
What a fabulous year it has been!

Let's celebrate with an Anything Goes challenge!

I was inspired with the florals and gorgeous blue color in the photo.  I was excited to use this new to me stamp set from Altenew called Painted Flowers.  Oh my......am I IN LOVE!!!!!!!  This set is right up my alley and I can't believe it took me so long to purchase this!  You can stamp your florals in any color combo and they turn out so beautiful.  I found the video on the Altenew blog to be very helpful when starting out with this set.  You can find the video HERE.  A beautiful hand written sentiment from Friendship Messages by Simon Says Stamp and 4mm/6mm Sparkling Clear Sequins by Pretty Pink Posh were added.
