I've had my eye on....
You've got to be kidding...
This card uses a very cute Studio G Cupcake stamp I found at Michael's a couple of weeks ago. I just love how this turned out!! This stamp was just $1 and so fun to color in. I actually got out my SU markers for this one. Yes, I have a set from about 8 years ago and thought "I should use these". He he. The running stamp on the bottom as the background is a PTI set called Around and About Sentiments. Now, I have gotten a little carried away with buying the new EK Success border punches, but who wouldn't?? In this picture, it's hard to tell but it's a tiny diamond punched out along the scallop. I also used some of my nestabilities to cut and emboss the image panels. I'm still getting used to using these but I absolutely LOVE the look it gives. Well, now that my computer is working better, I have a couple of more posts scheduled to reveal some of the other things I've been working on lately. Here's another view of my card.

Hello Spring!!

A goal of mine....
All of the stamps used on this card were from that set except for the flower background used for the bottom of the card. This background came from a MS background set. And what about that wavey dotted border? Don't you just love this? A few weeks ago, I made my way to my local Michael's and found they had just stocked a new section of EK Success punches!! Let me just say that those coupons sure came in handy!! :)
Here is a close up of my embellishment....the poppy was paper pieced together, stickles to the center and raised with a dimensional. I LOVE how the leaves look.....I stamped them with Ripe Avocado ink from PTI but then dragged them across the ink pad before stamping. It gave them that striped/distressed look. The flourish looking square behind the flower was also a stamp from this set. All cardstock is PTI.......I am in LOVE with these coordinating colors of paper, ink, ribbon, and now buttons!! (Don't have these yet but maybe next time!)
