STAMPtember with Reverse Confetti

Hello Friend2

Welcome to STAMPtember with Reverse Confetti!

This exclusive set is only available at Simon Says Stamp and once it sells out, it's gone!  So hurry to order yours now!

(affiliate link at no cost to you)

Being from Kansas, this time of year yields fields of our state flower......the SUNFLOWER.  This new collaboration set, Autumn Blessings, with SSS and Reverse Confetti is stunning and I love the bold lines!

The image was stamped in pigment black ink and then watercolored using Distress Inks and a waterbrush.  The image was fussy cut out and added to a notecard with a frame using Stitched Note & Frames Confetti Cuts.  A white heat embossed sentiment strip was added behind the image to ground it.  A few clear rhinestones were added for a bit of sparkle.

Simon Says Stamp / STAMPtember

Birthday Borders

It's time to celebrate STAMPtember with Simon Says Stamp!
This month is filled with a fabulous release and they are celebrating every day posting exclusive collaborations, contests, prizes, special promotions, announcements, and more surprises!  Make sure to check out the SSS blog for all those details!

I created this CAS birthday card for a teen birthday using the new Birthday Borders stamp set.  While I did not use the small "fine print" sentiments, I can't wait to use them on another card soon.  They are perfect for some "older" cards!

There are many promotions so make sure to visit the Simon blog for more inspiration today to keep looking for other promotions!

Simon Says Stamp / Friendly Frolic

Hello!  I am here to share a quick peek at a mini shaped card I made using the School Bus Messages set releasing from Simon Says Stamp as part of their Friendly Frolic release!

Home

There has been quite the discussion at our house the past few weeks about how my daughter will get to school now that she is starting Middle School this fall.  Ride with brother?  Nah.  She wants to ride the bus!!!  Sleep in later if she rides with brother?  Nah.  She wants to ride the bus!!!

So this stamp set and die is PERFECT for our little family right now.  I created a shaped card using the bus die and added a stamped/die cut bus image onto yellow carstock to keep this super simple since it's going to my daughter.  She will get a smile out of this for sure!  The inside reads......first day.  ♥ you.

Simon Says Stamp / Best Days Release Blog Hop / Giveaway

Hello

Welcome!  I'm so honored to be sharing some projects with you from the new Best Days release from Simon Says Stamp!  Check out the amazing line up for today's hop below!  If you want to shop, check out the whole release HERE.

Alcohol inks are all the rage and I had the opportunity to play around with the newest colors last weekend at my craft retreat.  I created my background paper using alcohol ink on Yupo paper.  I love using alcohol inks in a striped pattern!  (Sorry, I didn't write the colors I used)

So that my alcohol ink panel would really stand out, I used the new Blooming Wave Die and die cut many times out of paper that was adhesive backed.  I simply adhered the pieces with my Tonic Craft Pick.  For my sentiment, I reached for an older but favorite die, the Painted Hello Die.  I die cut it several times out of white and once more out of Lavender Cardstock and glued them together.  To finish, my tiny sentiment strip is from the older Happy & Smile stamp set.

Oh Baby

For my second card, I used the Oh Baby stamp set and coordinating Oh Baby Dies.  I began with a piece of Fog Cardstock and using a cloud stencil, I sprayed the cloud background using Silver Glitter Dust.  I stamped, Copic colored, and die cut my images.  I added my sentiment in black ink and my images with foam adhesive.  A simple twine bow finishes this off.

Avery Elle / STAMPtember

Merry Mistletoe

Hello!  Did you know STAMPtember®  is still in full swing over at Simon Says Stamp?  This whole month there are new products released and one of the most fun are the collaborations they do with other companies!

Avery Elle STAMPtember Exclusive

I am excited to share the latest collaboration with Avery Elle and Simon Says Stamp for STAMPtember® !

I started by stamping my mistletoe image, from Merry Mistletoe, to the top of a white cardstock panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Using Copic Markers, I colored my mistletoe and then added Glossy Accents to the berries and let the panel dry.  Once dry, I stamped the sentiment and tiny hearts.  I wanted to add a fun edge to my mistletoe panel so I used the Large Treat Bag Topper Elle-ments for it's decorative edge by only partially diecutting the edge.  I added the trimmed panel with foam adhesive to a strip of green striped paper from The Jewel Collection paper pad from Avery Elle.

CZ Designs / STAMPtember

CZ Designs

Hello!  Did you know STAMPtember is now in full swing over at Simon Says Stamp?  This whole month there are new products released and one of the most fun are the collaborations they do with other companies!

I am so honored to have been sent this FUN "Hollo-Ween" set from CZ Designs and Simon Says Stamp for STAMPtember!  If you do not follow CZ Designs on Instagram, you need to!  You can't help but smile with her IG stories!

I created a fun background that left my hands very messy but it was fun to see the colors blend together!   Using Blueprint Sketch, Seedless Preserves, Black Soot, Mustard Seed, and Crushed Olive Distress Inks, I blended them together onto a piece of smooth watercolor paper.  They blended beautifully!!!  I then zapped my panel with my heat tool because I was embossing next.  I used an aniti-static powder bag to prep my panel before white heat embossing the ghosts and sentiments.  When I was done, I went back over my ghosts with Black Soot Distress Ink which made them a gray color!  As a last touch, I added some chunky black gems!

Pretty Pink Posh / STAMPtember

Damask Greetings

Hello!  Did you know STAMPtember is now in full swing over at Simon Says Stamp?  This whole month there are new products released and one of the most fun are the collaborations they do with other companies!

I am sharing the collaboration between Pretty Pink Posh and Simon Says Stamp with the new stamp set called Damask Greetings.

I've used ONE image from this stamp set to stamp an entire panel in a light pink pigment ink from Fresh Ink.  To  make this easier, I've used some grid cardstock I've had in my stash for years but Simon Says Stamp now has a background stamp so you can stamp your own!  My sentiment was heat embossed onto a vellum banner from Stitched Labels 1 and sewn on using my sewing machine.

I am in LOVE with this new set from Concord & 9th!  They have fast become one of my favorite stamp companies and they are just awesome people!

Using my beloved Catherine Pooler Inks in Rockin' Red, Orange Twist, Tiara, Lime Rickey, Fiesta Blue, and Pixie Dust, I stamped both of these cards for bold looks!  Shop for Catherine Pooler Inks HERE.  There are several stamps in this set that can be used for different looks and I can't wait to try more like this!  The tiny supporting sentiments are just amazing!

Reverse Confetti / STAMPtember

SSS STAMPtember2

Hello!  Did you know STAMPtember is now in full swing over at Simon Says Stamp?  This whole month there are new products released and one of the most fun are the collaborations they do with other companies!

Reverse Confetti STAMPtember Exclusive

I am sharing the collaboration between Reverse Confetti and Simon Says Stamp with the new stamp set called Celebrate Your Day.

100% of the profits from this stamp set will go to support The Pink Fund.
The Pink Fund offers financial support to those who need it during Breast Cancer treatments.  This is a cause near and dear to Jen del Muro from Reverse Confetti as she has been in #beastmode with her breast cancer journey!  Love you Jen!

I love bold black and white so I paired it up with one of my favorite Reverse Confetti Colors.....Flamingo.  I've stamped my main image in black and then the word CELEBRATE in Flamingo ink.  My whole image was clear heat embossed over the colors for a shiny fun look.  I added a thin strip of Flamingo cardstock, a stamped/diecut bow from Boxes and Balloons, and some bling.
