Wee Memories #83 and final challenge.........

It is with a heavy heart that Jenny is making this the last Wee Memories Challenge.  However, this is a great time for you all to participate.  This week's winner will get goodies from There She Goes Stamps, The Twinery, and May Arts!!!  Here is the last Wee Memories challenge:

Jessica from There She Goes Stamps was generous to send the Design Team digital images to work with.  Well, I chose a set that I've had my eye on FOREVER and it's perfect for Valentine's Day!

I've used Buckets of Love stamp set from TSG.  The image was colored with various Copic markers and paired with some yummy pattern paper from the Love Me collection by My Mind's Eye.  I also added in a Pure Poppy threaded button with the new Doodlebug Valentine twine.....can you say LOVE??

Thank you all for your support of Wee Memories and I know I will miss designing for Jenny!!!  Here's to a great 2012 for Jenny and her new ventures!

Tulips and Daffodils!!

I just fell in LOVE with this stamp set called Beautiful Spring from There She Goes Stamps!  It combines both the spring flowers that I just love to see popping up during spring.  I am loving the sentiment here......"Between winter and summer, lies a beautiful spring."

The image was colored in using my Plum Pudding copic trio, Ripe Avocado copic trio, Scarlet Jewel copic trio (all from PTI) and the yellows were from my "ancient" SU marker set.  Do you see that the edges of the Plum Pudding cardstock base are a little pink color?  I used my Tea Dye Duo inks to ink the edges and that's what happened....I kind of like the effect!

Ribbon is a VERY close match to Lemon Tart but was from Michael's.  Well here in Kansas, we are getting some of this "spring" like weather!!  Yay!!

{Between winter and summer}
All supplies PTI unless stated.
Stamps:  Beautiful Spring (There She Goes), Polka Dot Basics II

Ink:  Versamark, True Black, Tea Dye Duo

Spring Themed Blog Hop!!

It sure hasn't felt like Spring here in Kansas (we received several inches of snow over the weekend), but I do have a Spring-themed card and project to share as part of a blog hop that I am participating in!  Scroll down to the bottom of this post to see the entire list of participants and make sure to click on their blog and check out some Spring things!
The card I created uses Polka Dot Basics II from PTI and a stamp set called Polka Dot Blooms by There She Goes stamps!  I finally broke down and purchased this mini set and it is just so cute!  I have been eyeing TSG stamps for awhile now and definitely will order more....good quality and fast shipping.  Here is a close-up of the images.
I did use the "happy spring" from the stamp set Egg Hunt by PTI for the sentiment.  The flower punched border is a new punch by EK Success and I added a tiny Aqua Mist strip behind the flower centers!

Ok, now here is a picture of the entire Spring project!  I just love how it turned out!
I made a tiny Easter Basket using this video on SplitcoastStampers.
Here are some other pics of the basket.....was very easy and my daughter said, "Is that for me?"  How cute was that?!  I told her I will make her one!
So, what do you think?  Springy enough for you all?  I am loving these colors together!    Aqua Mist and Hibiscus Burst!

Alright now, here is the list of all the other participants in this Spring themed Blog Hop!  Go check them out and don't forget to leave some love!!  Happy hopping!

Have a wonderful Spring day!!

I've had my eye on....

these clear stamps for a few weeks now. I "found" them while blog hopping, etc. and can't honestly remember where. There She Goes stamps are so cute!! If you haven't heard of them before, why don't you check them out? They have just begun their April release countdown. I think I will break down this month and buy some. So, since I don't own any TSG stamps yet, I had to find one that I love. My favorite card in the TSG gallery (check it out here) was made by Maki Jones, TSG Trendsetters. This set is one on my list for sure called Slow and Steady!!
