Build a Doily....Part 2

Ok, I really can't stop now!  I am having soo much fun making my own doilies!!  I had some more time yesterday to make more.  For this card.....I used one of my favorite color combinations.
Used lots of elements on this one and thus took me a bit more time to complete (not the doily but the
rest of the card!).  Once you get started making a doily, it really comes together pretty quick!

Here's what stamp sets the elements came from to make my doily:
Borders and Corners:  Circles---inner double ringed circle, flower image in inner circle, and scallops
Guidelines Two---center medallion
Simply Stationery---image surrounding the center medallion and images in scallops
Tea For Two Additions---"enjoy" stamp

I wanted to use my Morroccan Motifs impression plate again and I thought why not use that tiny image from Tea For Two Additions inside the impressions!  It fit perfectly!  I inked up that impressed strip with Chamomile ink so that the impressed areas showed up a bit more.  I finished up with more wrinkle ribbon from etsy and tied on a tea cup and a Simply Chartreuse shanked button.  I did want to mention that I colored on my center brad with some copics to darken it a bit as it was a "gold" color before.

Seriously, you may not have seen the last of the doilies from me!
I'm kinda liking the vintagy look too!

{Enjoy}
All supplies PTI unless stated.

WOW, this is definitely one of your "more in-depth" cards! I love all the details, like the impression plate strip, the dangling teacup, the fun wrinkle ribbon and the gorgeous green button! Doily making must be addictive!

Amy, this is another great doily card. I love the details they all go together perfectly.
I met up with friends today and made some doilies on scrap paper. They were also crafting, but some how I don't know if they truly understand ;)

So pretty! I have yet to give making my own doilies a try. I have a couple doily stamps and would probably just as soon use them before trying to make my own. Thanks for showing that it IS possible and can look absolutely amazing!
