Avery Elle / Dino-Mite Day

Hello!

Amy here today with a Dino-Mite card to share with you!  This set, Dino-Mite Day, is adorable and can be used in so many different ways and colors!  You can go with fun, whimsical or more traditional.  I did a mixture of both!  

I started with using a window stencil (with Broken China Distress Ink) from my stash so I could create mini "scenes" for my dinosaurs.  The dinosaurs were all Copic colored, die cut, and added to the mini scenes with foam adhesive.  Each one has white pigment pen details.  The last detail was a mini sentiment strip added to one of the scenes with foam adhesive.

Avery Elle / Best of the Bunch

Hello!

I am here with a fresh SPRING card for you!  Daffodils are finally blooming here and I'm so glad for the sunshine and warmth!

Best of the Bunch is an adorable set of critters holding spring blooms from Avery Elle!  The squirrel and mouse are helping each other carry this beautiful spray of blooms.  Images colored with Copic markers and scene created using the Pierced Birthday Frame Elle-ments.

Avery Elle / Spread Magic

Hi Avery Elle fans!

I here today with to spread a bit of "magic" with you using Avery Elle!

I have a clean and simple card using the mini set, Spread Magic.  I started by masking off and ink blending a yellow circle shadow where the unicorn would be highlighted.  Using some 1/4" strips of cardstock in pastel colors, these were layered below the yellow shadow.  The unicorn was simply colored with coordinating Copic markers and a bit of N1 marker for some shadows.  This mini set has SIX sentiments to choose from.  Be Extraordinary just made sense with these colors!  To embellish, the mini stars from the set were stamped in black in and tiny black dots were added with a fine tip Sharpie.

Avery Elle / Best Day

Hello!

I'm here today with a birthday card and a fun "fold" technique for your card too using some Avery Elle products!

There are four adorable critters in the Best Day set so I had to color them all up and use them for my card!  Each one was Copic colored and die cut using the coordinating dies.  I set these aside to begin on the background of my card.

I started with a piece of white cardstock measuring 4 1/4" X 11" and then scored it at 2 3/4" from each end.  Such a fun twist on the traditional A2 card!  For the blue panel, I die cut a stitched border using Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments and cut it in half.  This makes the perfect backdrop for the birthday critters!  The "It's Party Time" stamp from, Guess What?, was stamped at the bottom of each side to "ground" the critters.  Each critter was added with foam adhesive and to keep the card closed, the flag "pole" is tucked in behind the zebras face.  Tiny stars were stamped randomly across the scene and to finish, another sentiment from Best Day was stamped on the inside of the card.

Avery Elle / Little Horse

Hello!
I'm here with a little hello and happy birthday!

Little Horse, from Avery Elle,  pairs perfectly with the Howdy stamp set but I wanted to use this mini set entirely on it's own (except for a sentiment).  

I started with the Pierced Birthday Frame Elle-ments.  The inside of the frame (the card base) was masked off.  The sky and grass were ink blended with Distress Inks.  The frame was added over the blended background.  Tiny grass "tuffs" were done by adding flicks of Copic G24.  The frame was added using foam adhesive.  By using the frame, the scene "area" was smaller but perfect for just the images from this set!

A sentiment banner from Howdy was added with foam adhesive and a supporting sentiment, from Little Horse, was stamped below.

Avery Elle / Howdy

Howdy!  

I am here with a fun, farm themed birthday card using some Avery Elle stamps!

This will be perfect for a work or family birthday.  All the images are from the Howdy stamp set.  After Copic coloring the images, they were die cut using the coordinating Howdy Elle-ments.

 

The farm images were adhered (some with foam adhesive) to an ink blended panel that was die cut using the Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments for that stitched border.  Each of the sentiments were stamped onto a die cut banner also from Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments.  The die cut clouds were added from a retired die set.

Avery Elle / Hippo Hooray

Hello!  

Happy Valentine's Day!  

I have a HUGE thank you to share today featuring the Hippo Hooray mini set from Avery Elle.

I created the base of the card using the Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments as a basis for my layout.  I love the large stitched banner that is included in this set!  I ink blended a piece of scrap cardstock with just the ink on my blender brushes for this!  The Hippo Hooray images (I used all of them on this card) were Copic colored, die cut, and added to create a mini scene on the inked banner.  To my images, I added monochromatic dots for some texture.  I finished the card off with a banner sentiment and some white gems.
