Hello Chum

Hello!  I have a card to share using the adorable Hello Chum stamps and matching Hello Chum Ellements from Avery Elle.  This set is so perfect for those guys in your life!  I can't wait to give this to someone special.

I started my card with watercoloring a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper with Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean.  Once this was dry, I went back over it and added some Blueprint Sketch with some touches of Wilted Violet.  For the water drops in the water, I flicked some water drops onto my panel and dabbed with a dry paper towel.  I love how it turned out!  Once my background was all dry, I was able to go in and stamp my accents and sentiment.  To make this WAY easier, I used my Mini Mist tool so that I could stamp everything black two (2) times with Versafine Onyx Black.  My shark was done using Copics and accents with a white Signo Uniball pigment white pen.  To finish my card, I rounded the bottom corners with my 1/4" Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper.

Reverse Confetti May Blog Hop!

To create my card, I started by die cutting a Topped Off Tag from one of the new Quick Card Panels and added a Top O' The Tag Confetti Cuts in a coordinating cardstock.  I added in a cute present from Boxes 'N Balloons with foam adhesive.  This was layered over a Big Stripes Cover Panel that was done in white with light grey behind for contrast.  A few sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finished it off!

Countdown to Confetti: Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of the Reverse Confetti May Release!  It is a VERY SPECIAL release month as Reverse Confetti is celebrating THREE years!!!  We are releasing .....4 new stamp sets, 8 Confetti Cuts, and new Quick Card Panels this month!  Wahoo!  Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and more projects! 

I used several new products from this release.........Falling Confetti (die) and Boxes 'n Balloons stamps and coordinating Confetti Cuts.

I started my card by doing a little "inlaid diecutting" which is such a fun technique!  Yes......I pieced all those circles back in the holes!  I had placed a piece of adhesive cardstock down and then laid the Falling Confetti die cut panel over the top.  By using some Press 'n Seal to pick up my circles, placing them in all the holes was simple!  The balloons, from Boxes 'n Balloons, were stamped with pigment inks and die cut with matching dies.  Some twine (from Timeless Twine) and Sparkling Clear Sequins (from Pretty Pink Posh) were added as final touches.

Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop with Sugar Pea Designs

 

Hello!  So excited to be here today for my first Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop for Sugar Pea Designs!  If you picked up some of the amazing April release, we are sharing more ideas and inspiration using the new products!

I knew I wanted to use the Pineapple Paradise stamps but in a different way.  I went searching and found this print........

I loved the look of the off colors and the graphic look.  My version uses Hero Arts Ombre Ink in Mint to Green and PInk to Red to stamp my pineapple.  I then over-stamped the sentiment, from Talk is Chic, onto the diecut and also on some vellum with Staz-On black ink.  This panel was trimmed with the Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles and a small white panel was adhered behind to really make the panel stand out from the bold polka dot paper on the notecard.  The vellum panel and pineapple were adhered with foam adhesive and some sequins in Peacock Feathers, Strawberry Burst, and Fairytale Fuschia from Pretty Pink Posh were added.

DISCLAIMER:  I will be using the Candles 'n Confetti stamps and coordinating Candles 'n Confetti Confetti Cuts a lot, so get prepared!  This set is a MUST HAVE!  Jen has thought of everything for this set!

First......let's talk about the first Cover Panel releasing from Reverse Confetti called Big Stripes.  This cover panel just makes a statement.  I've cut it in white and layered blue cardstock behind which was then adhered to a white top folding notecard.  I've used one of the new Detailed Circles to add some stitching to a standard circle die.  This serves as a focal point for this amazing cake I created using the Candles 'n Confetti stamps and dies.  I've stamped all my images using pigment inks for a bold crisp look.  The possibilities with this set are just endless!  The stripe below my cake focal point is the perfect spot for stamping a sentiment from Celebrations.  Lastly, a few Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added.

We are starting things off by sharing the next set in the Dawn Machell series.........Lift me Up and coordinating Lift me Up Confetti Cuts.  This set is probably at the top of my list as a FAVORITE!!!  The giraffes are just the CUTEST!!

I stamped, colored, and diecut the giraffes and cupcakes using Tuxedo Memento Black and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  I wasn't going for something perfect here but more like a controlled messy watercolor.  Love the muted colors!  I've created a little "scene" using one of the newest Quick Card Panels: Party Time.  I created a small hand cut hill to which my sentiment was white heat embossed.  My giraffes were adhered with foam adhesive.  To finish this off, I've added some of the newest banners......Linked Garland Confetti Cuts.

Welcome to the World

Hello!  I have a card to share using the adorable Special Delivery stamps and matching Special Delivery Ellements from Avery Elle.  This set is so perfect to customize!

I've used this set along with the only cloud dies you'll need........the Pierced Clouds Ellements.  To frame my images, I've used the Wonky Stitches Ellements to die cut this rectangle that has this wonky stitching on the perimeter!  My images were colored and shaded with Copics.  The striped paper is from The Sorbet Collection Paper Pad.
