Well, it certainly has looked like Christmas around here lately! Snow, snow and more snow!!! We've had several snow days and now we are having to make up one day so far! But we've have fun in the snow....sledding, making snow angels, building snowmen, and yes shoveling snow!!!
So let's get ready for the show...........it's the 12 Kits of Holidays time!!!
This month's kit was sent by none other than Renee Lynch of It's a Patchwork Life! And she went for a Country Christmas theme.......Love it! Thank you Renee for such a thoughtful kit!

**Disclaimer: I actually made SIX cards (yeah, I know this is a lot for me for the 12 kits :) ) but I liked 4 of them so much that I've sent them on to the current Holiday Paper Crafts call! So fingers, toes, etc. crossed that at least one makes it in! I know you girls will understand and I will definitely share what doesn't make it.....and hey it may be none of it but I won't know unless I try, right?**
So my first card that I made with Renee's kit was this simple modern card. I LOVE this tree die by Memory Box. I think this tree is stunning with all it's little "pieces" left in place.
My next card uses this fabulous wired red burlap ribbon. I couldn't let it go unused so I layered it under my sentiment. Easy Peasy!! And who doesn't like this cute little sentiment?? :)
That's it from me today but let's go check out what the rest of the group made with the Country Christmas kit!!! Make sure to stop by Renee's blog for full supply list!!!

Loving the Joy tree :) Great work on both.
Oh Amy - I think that tree is brilliant - wish I hadn't punched out all those bitty pieces- I think you totally rocked that one with the tree! You still get all the elaborate detail and the letters like a swag are so fun!
OHHH I love that tree too.
Beautiful! Love the way you left the tree, as is. Both are gorgeous! The bold red ribbon with peace is beautiful. I hope your other cards all get published.
6?!!
YAY!!! :)
Now I can't wait to see the rest of them...
but hopefully they'll be on the pages of a magazine! ;)
These are fabulous...
I love that you left the tree all intact...
and you used that burlap ribbon...
nothing says country like burlap!! :)
Gorgeous...
but they always are! ;)
Pretty! Love those trees!
you left the swirls in the trees too! looks so cool!!
Fabulous, Amy! I love your JOY card. I took my green swirls out but left the red one intact. I see a CASE coming up!!
Both of your cards are just gorgeous. I love how you used that tree. I hope to see the other 4 in print before too long.
Love your cards Amy, I think keeping the tree intact was brilliant and love the way JOY looks like presents under the tree. Wasn't that burlap ribbon the best? I love how you used the SB dies for the sentiment. I can't wait to see what you do with my kit either. :)
Amy, both of your cards are fabulous and how you used that tree is so clever. I can't wait to see the other 4 cards, I am sure they are just as incredible as your first two.
Good luck on the call! Fingers & toes crossed for you too! :)
Your cards look great! I love the red burlap ribbon on the last card! And that Christmas tree is so fun too! I think it looks great with all the pieces left in!
Oooh, best of luck with the PC call! If your submissions are half as inspiring as your other 12 Kits cards, you're sure to get some happy mail. :)
I especially love the red on red in your first card, and that twine tree topper is so cute! Such a great, simple design on the second card. Definitely CASEable!
Wow 6 cards?! I hope you get those four in! Good luck :) I really love the first one, the red tree looks stunning with the little bow on top. I love how you left the pieces in the tree. And you're right, the burlap looks great on the second!
