Simon Says Stamp Pure Sunshine Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Pure Sunshine Release Blog Hop from Simon Says Stamp! There are so many new products releasing today.......stamps, dies, and stencils. I have many favorites among the new products and I'll share a few at the end of this post! I am so excited to share my project for the Pure Sunshine Release......You can check out all the new stamps/dies/stencils HERE! But first.....you must hop along because there are goody bags up for grabs!

I used the Bubble Parade Die to create a rainbow effect on the die with Copics. I started by scribbling the Copic colors I wanted onto white cardstock, blending them as I went across my paper. The Bubble Parade Die was then diecut from this paper.....giving my diecut a rainbow effect. (below is a sample.....the actual scribbled area was much longer to accomodate the full die)

Copics: R27, YR68. Y35, YG67, B24, V06

My background circles were left over from diecutting the Bubble Parade Die multiple times. Those circles were colored in with the Copics listed above and layered behind the Bubble Parade Die which was die cut several times and glued together for dimension.

I love the handwritten look to the font in the Thought Bubble stamp set (hint.....there are coordinating dies for that set and I'm in LOVE!) I did have to cut apart a stamp to make my sentiment here :) As a last detail, I added lots of Sparkling Clear 4mm/6mm Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. These are my FAVORITE sequins!!!!

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA.....took some blogging and crafting time off over Mother's Day weekend. It was a weekend of beautiful weather so I mostly spent it outside at my kids softball/baseball games. I am so proud of them....both teams are doing really well!

I had a little time to create last night and wanted to share this card I made for the current CASology challenge: Splash.

Using some new products from Reverse Confetti (did you know they celebrated their 1st birthday last week? They did.....go check them out :) ), I created a little underwater scene for this adorable submarine image from Here We Go. I used the Doin' the Wave Confetti Cuts for my waves/water.....this die is so much fun!!! I love how clear stamps can be curved to be able to stamp them anywhere.....here I've curved my sentiment over the top wave.

Hello sunshine!

Wahoo.....I'm glad it's Friday.....it's been a rough week. I still have my ongoing shoulder arm pain with entire arm numbness when I bend over so it makes it very hard to work. Also related to work, I had some disappointing news yesterday. :(

So let's get to what makes me happy today: a sunshiny card! Last week I used this HELLO die and this week I've used the Hello stamp from the Happy Hello stamp set. I love this font and what better is that there is BOTH a stamp and die from Whimsy Stamps! I couldn't resist adding in some layered sequins from Pretty Pink Posh in Lemon Meringue and Sparkling Clear.

Reverse Confetti May Blog Hop!

Well hello Reverse Confetti friends! We have had such a wonderful time celebrating our FIRST BIRTHDAY with all of you and sharing all of the fabulous sneak peeks for this month’s brand new release. We hope you’ve liked what you’ve seen so far! With 6 new stamp sets and 6 new Confetti Cuts Dies, there’s a lot of inspiration to be had.

I've stamped the stars in Silver Delicata pigment ink over a white cardbase. Using the coordinating Confetti Cuts, I've diecut a banner and the pinked circle and layered them all up with foam adhesive!

Countdown to Confetti: Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of the newest release for Reverse Confetti! If you are just joining in on the fun, there are new AMAZING things happening this month as it's Reverse Confetti's FIRST Birthday!!! Wahoo! Want to know what's in store for this release??......SIX stamp sets and SIX Confetti Cuts!!

Today we are sharing two more new sets: Here We Go and Let's Chill.

My first card is using the cute polka dot plane image with coordinating dies from Here We Go. I've die cut some clouds and layered this panel with foam adhesive over this adorable heart paper from Pink Paislee's Pen Pals collection. I'm kinda smitten with how this card turned out! :)

My next project uses the new set Let's Chill with it's coordinating dies. Let's just say this set is my FAVORITE of this release by far!! Here I've used a strip of pattern paper from Lawn Fawn's Hello Sunshine collection (love this BTW) and cut 3 strips in different sizes. My popsicles were die cut with the same paper collection from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment was heat embossed in white onto vellum paper and layered behind the popsicles.

And I couldn't resist adding in some Prisma Glitter to my popsicles and embellishing with 6mm Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Countdown to Confetti: Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the newest release for Reverse Confetti! There some new AMAZING things happening this month as it's Reverse Confetti's FIRST Birthday!!! Wahoo! It's been an amazing year with Reverse Confetti and I can't wait to see what Jen has for next year! But let's get to what's in store for this release: SIX stamp sets and SIX Confetti Cuts!!

Today we are sharing two more new sets: Key Words: You Make Me Smile and Label Me. Let's start with this amazing new die called Doin' the Way. It cuts several wavy lines in one cut and can be layered in ENDLESS ways. I've used it for both my projects today!

I started by diecutting the waves several times and then piecing them back together for a wavy panel for my card front. I softened it a bit with a sewn vellum panel.......this idea came from a good blog friend, Leigh Penner and her card HERE. I loved her card and had to put my own spin on it! :)

I've heat embossed my sentiment from Key Words: You Make Me Smile with white embossing powder and sewn on a few coordinating die cut stars from Oh My Stars Confetti Cuts. Lastly, I added some 4mm Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Next up is a super CAS card especially for my son. This kid LOVES LOVES LOVES bacon!!! Seriously.......anything bacon, pig, etc. So again using the Doin' the Way die, I HAD to make him a BACON card! Nothing frilly.....just bacon and a sentiment from Label Me! He will love this!! :)
