Reverse Confetti / Countdown to Confetti / Day 2

There are some gorgeous florals in the Reverse Confetti release! Each of my cards uses emboss resist......one of my favorite techniques!

A Beautiful Day butterflies were white heat embossed and Squeezed Lemonade, Peacock Feathers, and Picked Raspberry Disress Inks were blended over the top. Each was die cut and added to a circle die cut using the Large Rainbow Circle. Sentiment was also white heat embossed and hand trimmed out.

My second card uese the Roses stamps with white heat embossing.

With this card, the flowers were ink blended with several shades of yellow and greens for a soft look. The centers have concentrated color. Once the image was die cut, it was added to panel die cut with the stitched panel die that's included with the Roses Confetti Cuts!

My third card uses a new cover panel Folklore Cover Panel and Wildflowers.

Again, heat embossing! This time using more Distress Inks but in a soft pastel palette. After several die cuts were adhered together, the Wildflowers were added to a Folklore Cover Panel. For a sentiment, the Layered Friend Confetti Cuts was added with a layer of vellum.

Birthday Buddies is an adorable new critter set with a coordinating Birthday Buddies Banter sentiment set. These are illustrated by Dawn Machell.

Primary colors are perfect for birthday cards......this one features a gift card holder as well! I paired the turtle, hat, and balloons up with a circle to ground the images on the Circle Gift Card Holder. The circle was then placed on a Target gift card!!!

To finish the card, a few supporting die cut stars from Big Confetti Tag were layered, adhered, and adorned with gems.

Avery Elle / Loads of Hugs

Hello crafty friends!!

I am here today with a card full of sunshine and HUGS. Being from Kansas, sunflowers are a favorite of mine. Pairing these flowers with the Loads of Hugs die is perfect to send a card full of sunshine and HUGS to a friend out of state.

I pulled out a previously released set called Sunflowers and Copic colored the blooms. Once die cut, they were arranged onto a landscape folded card that had a Distress Ink blended panel (die cut with the Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments) adhered. The Loads of Hugs die was done in black cardstock and added with several layers of white cardstock for dimension. To finish off the card, a few dew drop embellishments were added.

Papertrey Ink / What Do I Do With This?

Hi crafty friends!

I'm here and I am excited to share this card using a much older Papertrey Ink product in a new updated way.

I dug deep for this die as my stash has been packed away for some time. Anyone remember the Rainbow Stripes Die? I've used it with Soft Stone cardstock for a soft background element for the blooms from Into the Blooms: Dahlia Die.

The blooms and leaves were ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks and die cut. Shading and white pigment ink were added for dimension. After arranging the blooms, they were adhered using liquid glue and foam tape. A stacked sentiment from Perfect Pairs: Essentials was done in bold black ink along with a supporting sentiment strip. To finish the card, white gems were added and then the whole card was spritzed with Shimmer Spray.

Avery Elle / Feels Like Home and Additions

Hi crafty friends!

I'm here with a cozy little scene using the sets Feels Like Home and Feels Like Home Additions. Using these sets together, can make for endless scenes!!!

We recently made a cozy "reading" corner in our living room. While our chair is not blue, it is green and very comfy! The chair, plant stand, and kitty images were all from Feels Like Home. The rest of the images (plant, light, rabbit) are all from Feels Like Home Additions. I did create a "beam" of light yellow light by masking off the area and ink blending a light yellow ink.

The Oval Burst Elle-ments is one of my favorites and it was perfect to "frame" my scene. Once the frame was adhered to the notecard with the beam of light, all my images were added with various layers of foam adhesive. A white pigment ink details were added to finish the card.

Reverse Confetti / April Blog Hop

I'm in the mood for SPRING so I decided to pull out some of the posies from Sending Smiles along with a sentiment from Poppies. If you don't recognize the background, it's because these dies were previously released..... Center Circle Cover Panel and the Large Detailed Circle Frame. They gave the perfect places to add some gold touches! A few gold gems and the gold heat embossed sentiment tie the whole card together!

Avery Elle / Bee a Keeper

Hello crafty friends!

I'm here today with a sweet card using Bee a Keeper from Avery Elle. One of my favorite sayings to tell my kids is "you're a keeper" so this sentiment is perfect!

Using some standard hexagon dies, Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink was ink blended onto the right sides of the hexagons. Black Soot Distress Ink splatters were done across all the hexagons. The hexagons were added with foam adhesive to a panel die cut using the Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments. The cute bear and bees were Copic colored and die cut using the coordinating Bee a Keeper Elle-ments. To finish, the sentiment was stamped onto one of the hexagons!
