Reverse Confetti / May Release Blog Hop

One more card to share using the new release and this one uses the adorable Ice Cream Social stamps.

I started my card with paper from the Sweet Stripes paper pad. I layered a white Square and Circle Frame. A white heat embossed sentiment strip was added in behind the frame to ground my image. My image was Copic colored, die cut, and added with foam adhesive. I added a die cut sun and cloud from the Over the Rainbow Confetti Cut.

Reverse Confetti / Countdown to Confetti Day 3

The party continues over at the Reverse Confetti blog where they are celebrating SIX years! We welcome 5 new stamp sets, 10 new Confetti Cuts, and the Sweet Stripes 6x6 Paper Pad!

Today's set is at the center of most celebrations.......the birthday cake! This adorable set is called Cake and Champagne.

A new tag called See Through Tag was die cut in white cardstock and layered over a piece pattern paper from Sweet Stripes 6x6 paper pad. My images were Copic colored, die cut using the coordinating dies, and added with foam adhesive. White details were done with a pigment pen. A sentiment strip from So Many Sentiments was added to ground my yummy cake. As final touches, I added some kraft twine and a few white gems.

This kit just screams RAINBOW so my first card shows off the main kit. I stamped the fun crafty images down the left side with Copic friendly ink. Using Copics in rainbow colors, the images were loosely colored and highlighted with a N0 Copic. To fill some of the white space in between the images, the outline heart was stamped. The sentiment (from Crafty Messages) was stamped in bold black across the panel.

My second card uses some of the add-ons from this month's kit. I ADORE the Crafting Border Fancy Die! The die was cut out of white cardstock and set aside.

To a white note card, strips of rainbow colored cardstock in 1/2" strips were adhered to the front. After adhering the crafty frame, a sentiment from Crafty Messages was stamped in bold black ink and a few black gems were adhered.

My third card goes back to my cross stitching days! I know I stitched many panels back in the day and what better than a rainbow heart panel! The stitched heart from Cross Stitch Patterns was stamped in rainbow inks onto a panel.

I wanted my card to look like a frame piece of art. Using the new Wood Frame Infinity Dies, I die cut one of them out of kraft cardstock. The frame was added with foam adhesive. For my sentiment, it was stamped onto a circle die and added with foam adhesive.

Today I am sharing cards using the Rainy Day Fun and So Many Sentiments stamps. **And a MUST HAVE die set for building a happy scene!

My first card started by making a white on white card front using the On the Curve Confetti Cut. I saved one of the curved extras to stamp my sentiment on which was added in place with foam adhesive. Distress Inks were blended onto a Stitched Hex Tag Confetti Cut. After Copic coloring, my images were die cut using the Rainy Day Fun Confetti Cut and added with foam adhesive to build my scene.

My second card uses the same On the Curve Confetti Cut and some colored cardstock in rainbow colors. After die cutting the panel, the colored pieces were added using the inlaid technique.

The length of the curves is perfect for stamping sentiments! Using the So Many Sentiments stamps, three of them were stamped onto three of the curves. Now the best part! The sun and cloud dies! A new must have die set called Over the Rainbow!!! I added the sun and some of the clouds (lightly blended with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink). To finish, a few white gems were added for sparkle.

Reverse Confetti / Countdown to Confetti Day 1

It's time to PARTY!

Starting off this release are some adorable Party Animals. The only problem with this set is choosing which animal to use!!!

Starting the card out is the background. Strips of paper from the Sweet Stripes paper pad were adhered to the back of a die cut panel using Split Circles Cover Panel. To tone down the busy background, a piece of trimmed vellum was added. To ground my images, a strip of coordinating cardstock was white heat embossed with the sentiment and adhered a top the vellum. The cute monkey on a bike, cake, and present images were Copic colored, die cut, and added to the card with foam adhesive.

Avery Elle / So Kind

Hello! I am here sharing a card using the So Kind sentiment stamps. This is a fabulous bold scripty sentiment set perfect for lots of occasions!

I knew I wanted to pair this fun sentiment 'thank you for being so kind' with the adorable Peek-a-Boo Pets. I love a shaped card so using the Pierced Mat Elle-ments, I created this card. Using the largest 2 dies, I die cut a frame for my card. Then using the largest die, I aligned the cutting edge just above the fold on my notecard and ran it through my die cutting machine.

The sentiment was white heat embossed using Pure White Fine Embossing Powder from Avery Elle onto my shaped card. Using Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold, and Dusty Concord Distress Inks, they were blended over the sentiment using the emboss resist technique. My white frame was added with foam adhesive. Lining the bottom of my frame are the critters that were Copic colored and die cut. The last detail are all the paws and hoofs!
