Lil' Inker Designs / June Release Day 1 / Giveaway

Amy_CatHugs

We are starting off Day 1 of the Lil' Inker Designs June Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps for this coffee lovers, cat lovers, and babies......are you ready?  Guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

I thought I would start things off with my favorite product from this release!  It's the Cat Hugs stamp and Die set.  Anyone that knows me, knows I love cats.  This set is just adorable!

I decided to stamp the large cat group stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink so I could do a bit of Copic coloring with gray neutrals.  I wanted to add color to this otherwise gray tone card by stamping and coloring the hearts from this set in RAINBOW colors.  What is so special about this die set is that it cuts the whole cat image out at the top and an additional piece is included to make cuts where the cat's hands are so that they can hold an array of images!  (so you can use the top die separate or use them together if you want your kitties to hold things)  Here's a photo to show the cuteness!!!

Pinkfresh Studio / Guest Designer

Hello!  I'm so excited to be here as a Guest Designer for Pinkfresh Studio and to share some of the newest release with you.

I couldn't let this release go by without this beautiful Modern Mandala Die.  There are so many ways to use this die!  I have two ways to use this die to share!

I began with a panel made with alcohol inks in Watermelon and Sunshine.  From this panel, I die cut the Modern Mandala Die leaving all the pieces intact.  To make this more sturdy, I added a die cut circle of cardstock to the back.  With the leftover panel, I die cut leaves and the word 'hello' using the Hello with Botancials Die Set.  After arranging and adding these elements to a white notecard, I finished off with some silver gems.

My second card uses the Modern Mandala Die by impressing the image into my white notecard.  This is done by using an embossing mat in your die cutting machine.

To keep this CAS, I simply die cut the word 'hello' from rainbow colors of cardstock.  To line up my word 'hello' evenly, I used a cardstock template I cut and will keep with my set for future use in placement of the letters.  Each of my letters were added with foam adhesive.

I am a huge fan of Susan Driscoll so it's no surprise that I fell in love with her designs here at Pinkfresh Studio!  Fruitastic is a fantastic set with lots of mixing and matching that can be done for one layer stamping along with dies to cut out the fruit and matching stems.

To stay true to my style, I created a CAS card utilizing lots of white space.  A simple piece of black and white Washi tape grounds my fruit images as well as give a place to stamp the sentiment.  The fruit images were stamped in dye inks with a Misti stamping tool using a rock 'n roll technique.  Once dry and die cut, I added accents with a white gel pen and coarse chunky glitter to the sides of my fruit.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Reverse Confetti / June Blog Hop

Summer Blog Hop

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti June Blog Hop!  .

Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for all the details of this hop and for a full list of inspiration and information!  We are celebrating SUMMER this month!!!

When I think of summer, one of the things I think about are popsicles when I was growing up......running around barefoot with the popsicle melting down my hands and arms.  So with the recent release of Hey, Sugar, it was the perfect set to help me celebrate the start of SUMMER!

Summer Blog Hop3

I stamped all my popsicles from Hey, Sugar in Versafine Black Onyx Ink on Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper.  I loosely colored them all in with Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, Wilted Violet, Spiced Marmalade, and Peacock Feathers and die cut using the coordinating dies.  To a white notecard, I added splatters of the same colors.  I added my images and a sentiment stamped on the banner die from Flowers for Mom Confetti Cut.

To make a sweet treat to go with my card, I made a gift card tag using the Gift Card Holder Confetti Cut embellishing it the same way as my coordinating card.  I added a strip of green cardstock to ground my banner sentiment on my tag.  I tied my tag off with hot pink twine and slipped my Cold Stone Creamery gift card inside.

Avery Elle / Painted Backdrops

Hello!  I am here sharing a CAS rainbow-tastic card!  Anyone else like a clean and simple card?  Add in a rainbow?  Yes, please!

My card uses the new Painted Backdrops to create my focal point.  Using a Misti and Distress Markers in rainbow fashion, I brushed color over the stripes.

Tip:  Brush all the colors on the stamp, mist with water, and stamp!  No need to do one color at a time!  Easy peasy!

To finish with a sentiment, I stamped OH HAPPY DAY from Big Birthday in New Moon Pigment Ink and die cut with the Focal Point Stripes Elle-ments.  The panel was adhered  with foam adhesive and some black enamel dots were added.

SugarPea Designs / Mix It Up Challenge #44

SPD Challenge June

Welcome!
I am here sharing a card using the June Mix it Up Challenge from SugarPea Designs over at the SugarPea Designs blog.  Make sure to check out the blog for all the details!

For this month's challenge, I used the colors from the inspiration photo of the Mix It Up Challenge.  (see graphic below)

I wanted to capture the colors in the sky from the inspiration photo.  Using the Zig Zag Stitched Circles in the smallest 3 sizes, I die cut the circles out of cardstock.  I arranged them and added them to a white top folding notecard.  Part of my sentiment was stamped onto a thin strip of cardstock and the SugarCut Hello was die cut out of gold glitter paper and adhered.  A few gold crystals finished it off!

Technique Tuesday / Release Day!

Strawberry2

Wahoo!
It's release day at Technique Tuesday!  All the fun stamps and dies I've shared the past 2 days are available TODAY!

Make sure to check out the Technique Tuesday blog for all the release details and full list of inspiration from the rest of the Design Team!

I'm not sure if I've shared this here or not but I've only in the last year and half started eating strawberries.  It stems from a bad experience as a kid being forced to eat them at dinner.  Yeah, let's just say that didn't end well!  LOL

This Strawberry Stamp cluster is gorgeous.....all the details along with the flowers!  I've copic colored my image and die cut using the coordinating die.  I've adhered it to a red gingham panel of pattern paper, added a twine bow and some clear confetti.  For my sentiment, I added a layered "thanks" (this die is part of the Strawberry dies) done in bold black.

Thanks for sharing a part of your day with me!
