My first card focuses on some of my FAVORITE products from the release......Very Merry Pattern Paper and the Jingle All The Way Confetti Cuts.

I started with my notecard and adhered a strip of the striped pattern paper from Very Merry down the left side.  My focal panel was trimmed and the Jingle All The Way was diecut into the panel.  A small thin strip of Avocado cardstock was adhered to the left underside part of the panel.  My panel was adhered using foam adhesive and I added a few "trees" made with the Branched Out Confetti Cuts for a graphic look!

Naughty or Nice

My next project uses an older product.......Sweet Treat Tent Confetti Cuts along with the new stamp set Naughty or Nice.

I assembled my Sweet Treat Tent and added a piece of pattern paper from Very Merry.  I added a diecut "tag" using the new Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts that was stamped using a sentiment from Naughty or Nice.  I embellished with a few snowflakes from Snowflake Trio Confetti Cuts and a few Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Vintage Ornaments

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti October Release Day 2!
We are releasing .....4 new stamp sets and 11 Confetti Cuts this month as well as another stencil, paper pad, and more colors of CARDSTOCK and INK!!  Woot woot!!  Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and information on all the new goodies!!

Ok so I have to say this.......the new Very Merry paper pad is a MUST HAVE!!!!  Many of the patterns included in this pad can be used for non-holiday cards!

I started this card with a layer of the green text pattern paper.  I love this paper but wanted something more "soft" so I pulled out my vellum and added a layer.  I added a 2 Way Stripes Tag Cover with foam adhesive.  To the top of the tag, I die cut the Leafy Wreath and added some white pigment dots.  My main focal point, Vintage Ornaments (stamped with the new Brick Ink) was added with foam adhesive..

Christmas Blessings

I've used the new Very Merry paper pad along with a FABULOUS new die called Pop Up Circle.  Just look at the details.....a fun pop up element for this!  I added a die cut from Branch Out Confetti Cuts onto that detailed circle.  The sentiment is perfect and simple (from Christmas Blessings) and was stamped w/ black ink.

Merry Christmoose

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti October Release!

I always like to start out with the Dawn Machell set.......this month it's Merry Christmoose and coordinating Merry Christmoose Confetti Cuts.

I started out with the largest of the Lacy Scallop Frames and sponged on some of the new Stone and Avocado Dye Inks releasing this week with the new Pointed Out Stencil.  I love how this stencil looks like more trees behind that adorable moose from Dawn Machell!  My images were Copic colored and die cut with the coordinating Merry Christmoose dies.  My sentiment was stamped onto a tag and adhered with foam adhesive.  My whole card front was attached to a standard kraft note card.

Avery Elle and Chibitronics

ChibiHop

Avery Elle and Chibitronics are pairing up for a fun collaboration today.  Chibitronics has products that we can use to easily illuminate our  cards, paper crafts, textiles, and more.  They are so cool!  Be sure to check out their website for videos, tutorials, examples and templates.
I am sharing a fun "interactive" element to my card today using the Chibitronics LED Circuit Stickers.  These fun little stickers make an area of your card "light" up when another part (aka. where the battery is) is pressed.  I used the Holiday Glass stamps from Avery Elle for my "light up" flame!  I encourage you to find a video for steps on making your "circuit".  It really is very easy!

Here is my card with the flame "lit"----

We are giving away one Chibitronics STEM Starter Kit as well.   Just comment on this post or one of the design team members posts by Midnight, PST October 9th to be entered to win.  There is no purchase necessary and you must be 18 years of age or older to enter.  This giveaway is void where prohibited.  Winner will be announced on the Avery Elle blog on Monday, October 10th.

Let's get to the hop shall we? The Avery Elle and Chibitronics design teams have some amazing projects to share with you so be sure to check them out at the following links.

Hello World Blog Hop!

Hello World3

Hello!  I'm so honored to be a part of the Hello World Blog Hop as part of Catherine Pooler Designs "giving back" promotion.  I'm joining so many great designers in helping to raise money for a great cause.

Here is a bit more about the Hello World Blog Hop:

Jennifer Ingle (aka Jingle) and her husband, Sean posted on Facebook about the Go Fund Me account they set up to help raise money to purchase computers for Sean's classroom.  Sean is a teacher in a school where most kids are on a free and reduced lunch program, they don't have computers at home or at school, and the school does not have the funds for a curriculum.  In the spirit of giving his students the best education he can provide, Sean is working to raise funds to purchase computers for his classroom.

Chaitali Narla and Catherine Pooler have come together and designed a stamp set that goes on sale today called Hello World.  All profits of this stamp set and the coordinating dies from Saturday, October 1-Friday, October 7 will purchase computers and other school supplies for Sean's classroom in Boston.

I wanted to make a design that I could recreate for some holiday gifts this year.  The Hello World stamp set is perfect when paired with the Yay Stripes stamp set which are both releasing now!  My card has NO foam adhesive!  Do you know how hard it was for me not to pop my panel off the green layer?  :)  This is a simple design that can be done in so many colors for a quick gift when packaged.

SugarPea Designs Caring Hearts Special Release Blog Hop!

CaringHearts3

Hello and welcome to SugarPea Designs Caring Hearts Special Release. I am so excited to join this list of FABULOUS ladies for this special hop in celebration of the upcoming 7th annual Caring Hearts Card Drive.

Vera (the mastermind behind the card drive) and Jennifer McGuire along with their team of volunteers will be collecting handmade holiday cards for the elderly that live in nursing homes from October 1 to November 25.  Vera will have all of the card drive details up on her blog on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016.

SugarPea Designs will be donating 20% of all proceeds from the sale of Caring Hearts stamp sets & dies to the Alzheimers Association.

My first card uses my favorite sets from this special release:  Kindess and Caring Hearts.  Each stamp set has a coordinating die but I've combined these 2 sets here.  I've stamped many of the envelope groupings and then Copic colored them all in.  Tedious but well worth it!  My "Kindness" die cut was cut multiple times and layered for dimension.

My next card uses the other DARLING set called Caring Critters.  I used the red gingham paper from Countryside Charm papers along with the Heart Journal Card Sugar Cuts.  My stitched hearts were diecut into a white panel and then added with foam adhesive for a window look.  The cute dog was Copic colored, die cut, and added with foam adhesive.
