Reverse Confetti April Blog Hop!

Welcome to the April Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!  Have you seen some amazing new stuff this week from Reverse Confetti?  With 4 new stamp sets, 8 new Confetti Cuts, and new QCP.....there is something for everyone for this release!  

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog and I am the next stop! It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!  The new release is AVAILABLE now!

I love creating a card with lots of white space with pops of color.  Here I've used Garden Bunch and coordinating Garden Bunch Confetti Cuts.  The blooms were layered over a die cut black Double Circle Panel with Leafy Confetti Cuts.  My sentiment from Bitty Banners was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and heat embossed with clear embossing powder for a bold shiny look.

My second project is something a little different.  I've made a locker magnet using the new Insta-Frame Confetti Cuts.  I printed a photo of my kiddos from our recent vacation, trimmed it down, and added it to the frame.  Since I'm a nurse, we have an area with lockers for our personal things and I can't wait to add this to it!

Countdown to Confetti: Day 3

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti April Release!  We are celebrating with .....4 new stamp sets, 8 Confetti Cuts, and new Quick Card Panels this month!  Wahoo!  Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and more projects! 

Today we get to share the CUTEST new set from Dawn Machell called Bear Hugs with coordinating Bear Hugs Confetti Cuts.  Koalas!!!  

I just had to use the momma and baby koala for a baby card.  I created my focal point by diecutting a circle from both my pattern paper and my white cardstock.  I sponged some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink where my circle would be on the side of my panel.  Using the Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts, I created my frame for my focal point and adhered with foam adhesive.  My koalas were colored with Copics and diecut.  My sentiments from Bear Hugs were white heat embossed onto grey cardstock, trimmed out, and adhered with foam adhesive.  A few sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added.

Woodland Wonders

Hello!  I have a card to share that can be seen over on the Avery Elle blog today.  This uses the super adorable set called Woodland Wonders.  I think this set is a must have as it can be used for lots of occasions!!!

I stamped the birch trees onto white cardstock and lightly highlighted some details with a W1 and W3 Copic.  I also used these Copics to color the owl.  I wanted to stay with a pop of color so I added a strip of pattern paper from The Jewel Collection paper pad to either side and adhered with foam adhesive.  A simple sentiment using the banner and coordinating Woodland Wonders Elle-ments was added.

Today's card is all about DAD.  The new Tie-rific stamp set and Tie-rific Confetti Cuts is perfect for those special guys in our lives.  This card is inspired by my husband.  You see, he's color blind, and I have to pick all his clothes out.  So his wardrobe mostly consists of blue dress shirts and ties......AND he hates ties!  :)

I've layered a Topped Off Tag Confetti Cuts with the new Squared Off Tag Toppers over a thick linen vellum which was layered over one of the new QCP called School Days.    I love the graphic look!  I love the tie image die cut and layered over the tag!

April YNS DT Dare---Sending Smiles

Welcome!  I am back joining the DT over at Your Next Stamp for the YNS DT Dare---Sending Smiles!  The challenge is to create a card that would send anyone a smile!

I worked with the Waddles to the Rescue for a fun "kid friendly" card.  But really.....who doesn't like a window card??  I used the new Window Die and framed it with black cardstock and added the sentiment white heat embossed onto a black strip of cardstock for the window "sill".  This window die cuts INTO the paper and you can use it that way or you can trim out.  I opted to use as a window with a scene behind.

My images were Copic colored and fussy cut out for a fun look.  I added some black burlap twine for my window closure but the inside is too cute not to show off!!!

I'm starting off the release with a set that will be PERFECT for those upcoming Teacher gifts for the end of the school year.  Using All Apples, I stamped and die cut using the coordinating All Apples Confetti Cuts in both red and green.  They were layered onto a new panel from the QCP collection this month called School Days.  One detail I wanted to point out is the stitching along the outside of my green layer.  It was done using the new Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts.  Now I can add stitching to any of my RC projects!  And to add some shine, some Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added to finish.

Right at Home April Release!

 

Welcome!  I am thrilled to join you today as part of the Design Team for Right at Home!!  I couldn't be more excited to share Nicole's designs.  With that, it's release time for April!!

I couldn't help but use this new set with such adorable images including birds, bird house, branches, etc.  I did a loose watercolor background of Salty Ocean Distress Ink and set it aside to dry.  I stamped my birdhouse on kraft cardstock and trimmed out making sure to cut the hole out too.  I then stamped, colored, and cut out another "roof" to paper piece back onto the house with foam adhesive.  My bird, branches, and leaves were all colored with Copics and trimmed.  I began assembling my card but decided to then add my sentiment onto a black strip to "ground" my images.  The sentiment was white heat embossed and some Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added.
