CAS-ual Fridays Challenge: In Stitches

 

Welcome back to another episode of CAS-ual Fridays!!!  This week's challenge is all about STITCHES!  Remember to link up your Clean & Simple (CAS) card using any type of stitches!  This should be fun so let's see them!

 

 

I've had this sketch in my head for a while now and finally put it to use.  All the stamps are from VERVE,  I knew the pumpkins from Tall Oaks would look fabulous in a "window" card......a little stamping, coloring, and embossed sentiment was all it needed to pull it together!  Oh yeah......a few blanket stitches too!  The zigzag stamp is from Borderline and the sentiment is from Bountiful Harvest.

Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!

Hello October (cooler weather—yay!) and Hello REVERSE CONFETTI Fans!  It’s the 8th of the month –Blog Hop time!  Are you all ready to savor some sweet inspiration?  Grab a cuppa and take some time to enjoy this month’s creative Blog Hop from Reverse Confetti.  Last month’s release was all about fall and spooks and today we are inspiring you with projects and cards using those stamps and any other previously released stamps from Reverse Confetti.  Along with the Confetti Crew (our fabulous design team), we’ve also invited some extra friends to join in on the action!

I've played with a beautiful fall set called Bountiful Harvest (temporarily sold out....sorry!).  This set has been on my wish list since it came out......now it's mine.  :)  The pattern paper is from the happy-go-lucky collection by Fancy Pants.  This plaid paper was the perfect backdrop for my sentiment.  The banner die is from the latest release called Award Banner.  You can not see it here but I've added Wink of Stella glitter pen in clear to several areas.

I played around with some dimensional paste the other day.  I picked up this chevron stencil and gave this technique a try.  No lie....it's a little messy but I like the results!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps Birthday Bash!!!

 

I'm here today to help Fresh Squeezed Stamps celebrate their BIRTHDAY!  It's their first year celebration and you don't want to miss out!  They are celebrating all week long and I think there are lots of FSS "friends" joining in this week!

 

 

 

I had the pleasure of being on the Fresh Squeezed Stamps inaugural DT earlier this year.  Working with Ryann and Shannon was a fantastic experience and I'm so glad they took a chance on me and invited me aboard!

 

I've used Everyday Expressions to help Fresh Squeezed Stamps celebrate!  Here I've stamped and masked many of the blooms from this set with fun colors.  I love how CAS it turned out!  For a little dimension, I've added Glossy Accents to the bloom centers!
