Wee Memories #82

Gosh, where has the week gone?  I haven't posted since LAST Saturday!  Well, things have been busy and as you might already know.......there are some changes and sad news for the Wee Memories Challenge.  Jenny has decided to stop the Wee Memories Challenges at the end of January.  Check out her blog post HERE.  Jenny, I wish you the best of luck with your new adventures and I'm sure they will be exciting!  Thanks for having me on your DT the past 6 months!

So are you ready for this week's challenge?  It was my turn to host this challenge.  I chose something that is dear to my heart..........Mini cards.  If you follow my blog at all, then you know that I make mini cards for pretty much every holiday for my kids.  I put them in their mailboxes at their seat at the table on the morning of the holiday!  They so look forward to this!  You can see a picture of their mailboxes HERE.

This week's sponsor is non other than My Favorite Things and yes I do LOVE them!  Especially their dies and Pure Innocence stamps.  So I've paired them up here for a mini card for my daughter for Valentine's Day.  The papers are from the new MME Love Me collection.  The best thing about these paper pads is that everything coordinates.  Takes the guess work out of it for you!  The postage frame die is from the First Class Friend set.

Thank you so much for stopping by......I truly appreciate each one of you!  Have a great weekend!

Wee Memories #72

Hey there!  It's Saturday and time for another Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge!  Another great one this week:  Holiday Madness.  It doesn't have to be Christmas....just pick any holiday!  I am hoping to have some stamping time this weekend but being that I am on call with work, only time will tell!  :)

Since I am just getting in the Halloween spirit around here, I thought I'd make another Halloween card using this CUTE Pure Innocence sweetie!  I think I could own all of these cuties!  I paper pieced my little witchie with the Haunted Hallows paper by Teresa Collins.  Fun little clothes......too bad I couldn't get away with wearing those!  hehe  I had to add in some distressing with ink and rough edges to spooktify my card!  I am loving my little sewing machine and I hope you aren't getting tired of seeing it on my cards!

This week's sponsor is non other than Lawn Fawn and they graciously donated a $25 gift certificate to their store.  Fun prize and fun challenge!  Please link up your Holiday Madness cards for this week's challenge!

Wee Memories Challenge #65

Hope your weekend is starting off fabulous!  We will be going non-stop to football and baseball games with our son all this weekend.  This is in the midst of the first couple weeks of school for us here.  Are you ready for the first of the weekly challenges that start back up for Wee Memories?  Well this week's challenge is all about BACK TO SCHOOL!

I went back to the basics of coloring for my card using Copics.  When I saw those crayons in the photo, I knew what stamp I wanted to use.......You Make the Grade by Pure Innocence.  So absolutely adorable.....just makes me smile every time I see one of these little girls!

Using another Viva la Verve sketch (this time week 3), I used some of my school themed papers in my stash that I believe are Cosmo Cricket but correct me if I'm wrong!  I also got some use out of my PTI Impresssion Plate:  Bookprint.

This week's sponsor is Your Next Stamp......go check them out.  They have some amazing designs!

A little Pure Innocence.

How about a little Pure Innocence today?  These cute images are quickly becoming
a favorite line of stamps for me.  Every time I shop at my LSS, one pops into my cart!

This color combo is just divine!  So fun and cheery!  The combo came from the challenge over at
MFT....to use raspberry, lime green, and aqua.  Ok, had to use my Copics again!
Seriously, can not wait to get more of these!

Have a beautiful day!  We are gearing up for awesome weather
here in Kansas this weekend and I'm off work!!  I get to stamp with my

Embellish Color Challenge using Paper Piecing!

Oh, I've forgotten how I love to paper piece!  Here are the colors of this challenge:

I LOVE this challenge because I used one of my favorite PI images by MFT!  This image is great
for paper piecing.  I still had some Origins DP from Basic Grey and knew it would be
perfect for this challenge!  I paper pieced her shirt, pants, and the tiny flower on her shirt!

This little cuties soo reminds me of my daughter!  Pigtails and all!
I will be giving this to her for her birthday.....yikes, just 1 month away!

I LOVE the Bracket Edge die from MFT.....it makes such pretty edges to your cards as
well as layers.

Did you notice my nice "box" around my Pure Innocence girl?
It's the new stamp set from PTI called Framed.  This is going to be a favorite I can tell right now!
With all of my new goodies I got in the mail from the last release, THIS was the image I used!

I would love to hear what you think of this!
You will be seeing more of these cute PI kiddos in the future!
