I made this card for my dad on his birthday last week and I'm finally getting to post it for
the Papertrey Paper Dolls Challenge that Cecilia of Trade Fish Designs hosted.
Her challenge was to keep it simple using something beautiful and warm
with the fall season as your inspiration.
I inked up Leaf Prints and used my Woodgrain IP for this one.
Pretty simple except that I used the rock 'n roll technique for those leaves....love this look!
I also want to mention that to "soften" the woodgrain and make it stand out, I
did sponge some Vintage cream ink all over the impressed woodgrain pattern. I really like how it turned out!
I am also sending this card over to the CARDS blog for their hunt for cards with leaves!
Have a wonderful day!
{Happy Birthday}
All supplies PTI unless stated.
Stamps: Leaf Prints, Communique Sentiments
Paper: Kraft, Rustic White
Ink: Dark Chocolate, Summer Sunrise, Terracotta Tile, Ripe Avocado, Vintage Cream.

This is a beautiful card (can you say that about masculine cards?)! I love the mulit-colored leaves and the buttons with the ribbon like that! Very nice!

Love this Amy! Great combination of colors and elements. I like the "tree" theme you have going on here!
Love the colors, the leaves all of it....I didnt think I needed those leaves but I am reconsidering that decision! Adds to my fall mood :)
I just love the fall colors in this one, and the ribbon tucked behind the mat is perfect!
