SugarPea Designs / Sweet Peek Day 1 / Giveaway

Amy_Swan2

Welcome to the SugarPea Designs Sweet Peek Week for the January release!
There are some fabulous new stamps and dies that are so versatile and can be used all year long!  BUT be ready as SugarPea Designs is bringing some NEW basics for cardmaking!

I hope you'll join me here over the next 5 days as I share Sweet Peeks for the all the NEW products that will be available for purchase starting this Friday, January 22nd at 2PM EST in the SPD Store.

**If you want to shop, remember this link:  SugarPea Designs.**

The Sneak Peek Week begins today with some adorable "SWAN" themed sets.

My card started with masking off a circle area on a white panel.  Distress Inks (Spun Sugar, Milled Lavender, and Seedless Preserves) were ink blended over the mask.  While the mask was still in place, the new Cute Hearts Stencil was blended over the top.  I took this one step further and spritzed the stencil with Shimmer Spray so the hearts are all shimmery!

Using the new Block Alphabet SugarCut, the word baby was die cut and ink blended in the same fashion as the background.  These were added with two layers for dimension.  The images from Sweet Swans were Copic colored, die cut and added with foam adhesive.  To finish, the sentiment was stamped onto a white strip, cut at an angle, and added with foam adhesive.

Reverse Confetti / Love is in the Air

 "Love is in the Air

SHOP for Reverse Confetti HERE!

Creating a scene doesn't have to be hard!  I created a sweet little scene using just a few products.  I started with ink blending Speckled Egg and Evergreen Bough Distress Inks onto a white note card.  To bring out this design, the Cloudy Day Cover Panel was layered over the top.  The "love is in the air" sentiment was stamped amongst the clouds!

Using some of the clouds from the Cover Panel, they were added with foam adhesive.  To further embellish the scene, a few red die cut hearts were added along with some clear gems.  The last thing added was the cute raccoon throwing hearts in the air.  ♥

Avery Elle / Frenchie

Hello!

I am here today with a BIRTHDAY card using the stamp set, Frenchie.  There are two adorable dogs along with lots of supporting images to make cute scenes.

I went with primary colors for a change and colored the wagon, cake, balloons, and present with Copic markers.  To create my scene, I stenciled some clouds in the background with Broken China Distress Ink and added a frame using the Oval Burst Elle-ments in red cardstock.

The sentiment was stamped selectively by masking off a portion to make it fit the scene and the oval shape.  The Copic colored images were all added with various levels of foam adhesive.

SugarPea Designs / Mix It Up Challenge 75

MIU75

I have a card made for the current Mix It Up Challenge over at SugarPea Designs
Make sure to check out the challenge photo and/or sketch for this month.

There are so many ways to take these Mix It Up Challenges.  I went with the hearts and colors of the inspiration photo.

Using the Postage Stamp SugarCut, I created a panel of white cardstock for my main element.  The stitched heart was done by trimming 1/4" strips of colored cardstock and adding them to a piece of scrap cardstock.  Then the heart was positioned over the strips and die cut.  For dimension, the heart was die cut several times and layered together.  The strips on the heart were the perfect width to stamp a sentiment from Heart Prints without any more dimension!

Reverse Confetti / Countdown to Confetti Day 2

Farmhouse Wreath2

It's time for Day 2 of the January release from Reverse Confetti!  We welcome 4 new stamp sets and 7 new Confetti Cuts!

Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and information on all the new goodies!!

I love the set featured today.......it's so dainty and can be used for tons of occasions!

Let's hear it for Farmhouse Wreath.  I kept this clean and simple by simple Copic coloring of this sweet image.  Once colored and die cut, the image was added with foam adhesive to a panel done with the Diagonal Stitches Cover Panel that was ink blended with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  A sentiment, from Mixed Messages, was stamped onto a panel of vellum and wrapped around the bottom of the panel.
