Lil' Inker Designs / June Release Day 3 / Huge Sale!

Hello!  It is Day 3 of the Lil' Inker Designs June Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from the Lil' Inker Designs Blog.   Guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!  But make sure you scroll to the bottom of this post, as there is a HUGE sale happening this week too!

This first card just makes me chuckle!  I'll Be Brief is a new "punny" stamp set that is just adorable!  

I stamped and die cut several of the "brief" stamps and gave a quick highlight with my N1 Copic for just a bit of shading.  I randomly added these over a white top folding notecard.  To frame my images, I die cut a frame out of the Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Rectangles.  I white heat embossed the "punny" sentiment onto a black strip of cardstock and added it across, behind the frame.  

This card is going to my brother-in-law for his retirement this weekend so to customize this, I used the bear in his briefs stamps!  Very fitting as my brother-in-law is known as "Papa Bear" where he teaches!  His school colors are orange and burgundy so I colored his briefs accordingly.  I added my bear with foam adhesive to the left of my sentiment.  To finish, I added some tiny stamped stars from the Grad Class Stamps around all the briefs!

To switch gears a bit, my second card uses the floral set called Blossoms and Banners.  I black heat embossed the image and colored the blooms with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  Using the Blossoms and Banners Dies, I die cut the image and layered it over a panel that was done using the Quilted Stitched Basket Weave Die.  This panel was trimmed down and added to a light blue cardstock panel.  After adhering the panel, I added several clear confetti in various sizes.

SugarPea Designs / Sweet Peek Day 4

 

Hello!  I am excited to share some of the projects I've been working on for the brand new release from SugarPea Designs!  Each day this week, we will be sharing inspiration using the new release.  With several new stamp sets, matching dies, and even a new paper product.......there's something you are sure to love!

This release is all about outdoors, camping, summer and fun!  Lots to check out this week!

I just love this new set and especially the name.....Tropic Like It's Hot!  I stamped and die cut a ton of tropical leaves and flowers.  I then layered them around my sentiment like a frame leaving them hanging off the sides and then just trimming all the excess off.  To finish, I added some hot pink enamel dots!

My next card uses the new Let's Flamingle stamp set and coordinating Let's Flamingle SugarCut.  I did a quick watercolor wash of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  Once dry, I added some coordinating Washi Tape and a stamped and hand trimmed banner sentiment.  I added my stamped Flamingo to the left of the sentiment and finally some matte enamel dots to coordinate.

I thought I would share my more graphic projects today.  For my first card, I started by stamping the triangle strip stamp from Tribal Chic Stamps in rainbow fashion using Fresh Inks from Impress Cards and Crafts.  Using the original Misti for it's size, stamping these strips in rainbow order was a breeze!  For my sentiment, I die cut several of the new Whoops Word Die cuts and adhered them together to create my own chipboard word.  To finish off the sentiment, I white heat embossed my favorite sentiment from the new Whoops Stamp Set and added it with foam adhesive.  Finally, I added some matte black enamel dots

My next card uses the new Cover Up Die: Diamond Chevron (which is a free Gift with $100 purchase......see below for details!).  I die cut the Diamond Chevron in white and layered over a black panel.  As a simple focal point, I die cut the new Hi Word Die into a Stitched Mats: Squares and layered over a black cardstock square.  A few flowers from Jar of Flowers adorn the corners and a simple "friend" sentiment (from Best Blooms Stamps).  My focal point was then adhered to the card front over a strip of coordinating pink cardstock.

Avery Elle / No Way

Hello!  I am sharing a card that can be seen over on the Avery Elle blog today using No Way.

If you love punny stamp sets, you will LOVE this one!  It's called No Way from Avery Elle.  I love the fonts and the adorable images especially this little piece of toast!  I started with blending Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto a white notecard and spritzed with water.  I added a panel that was die cut using the Horizontal Stripes Elle-ments done in white.  I've colored my toast and party hat with Copic markers.  I stamped a face, arms, and legs for my toast.  I white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment onto a black banner and tied it with some Raspberry Hemp Twine from Avery Elle.
