Right at Home--Hello

Hello Fall

Hello!  I am sharing a card using the new stamp set from Right at Home called Grateful Heart.  This set has some great fall images but my favorite part is all the sentiments in a fabulous font!

I stamped several of the leaves from this set with Versafine Onyx Black ink and watercolored them with various colors of Distress Ink that was smooshed onto an acrylic block as a palette.  Hands down my favorite way to watercolor!  For my pumpkin, I actually used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to achieve the shaded look.  All the images were hand trimmed and arranged using Press 'n Seal.  My sentiment was stamped several times along a diecut border done with the Scallop Border Dies from Pretty Pink Posh.  My sentiment panel was adhered to a top folding notecard (which was layered with a gorgeous fall plaid paper from Lawn Fawn) with foam adhesive.  Using the Press 'n Seal, I was able to quickly glue down my focal point and adding the pumpkin with foam adhesive.  A burlap twine bow and some Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh finish this card.

Hello Fall2

Lil' Inker Designs Release: Day 3

Amy_SuperKids

Welcome to Day 3 of the Lil' Inker Designs September Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps for this fall season.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from Lisa Henke's blog.   Guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

Today, I have a few more cards to share......one using more Halloween goodies and one using a favorite set from this release........Super Kids Stamp Set and matching dies!  This Super Kids Stamp Set is a perfect set for those kiddos in your life or anyone because, really......how cute are they???

I started by creating a little Super Kid scene with the Super Girl and paper pieced her dress using paper from the new Super Kids Paper.  Otherwise, the rest of her features and the flowers were colored with Copics and set aside.  The clouds and trees were stamped with pigment inks (some new Fresh Ink colors!) and die cut out.  To create my scene, I've used the Stitched Mats: Rectangles with the graph paper from Super Kids Paper and added a die cut hill using the Border Builder Die Set.  My scene was assembled and added with foam adhesive to my card that was covered with the paper I used for paper piecing her dress!  Too cute!

Next up is one more Halloween card!  I've used the new Spider Web Greeting Die along with the new Wonky Rectangles Dies.  I started with my spooky background (green) which was done with lots of blending of Distress Inks.  I overlayed a Wonky Rectangle done with polka dot vellum.  The Spider Web Greeting Die was die cut out with the words done in gold glitter cardstock.  As a last touch, I added some gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Lil' Inker Designs Release: Day 2

Amy_Zombie_Tombstone

Welcome to Day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs September Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps for this fall season.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from Stephanie Gold's blog.   Guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

Today is ALL about Halloween!!!  Released last evening, were many new spooky and fun goodies for some fright night papercrafting!

This first project uses a CUTE new set called Zombie Kids Stamps and matching dies.  To be honest, I had to google "zombie" pics to see examples of how to color one!  Anyway, I had fun coloring my Zombie girl with Copics.  I paired her with the new Tombstone Peek-a-Boo Die.  For the rest of my card, I've used lots of previously released dies such as Rainbows and Clouds, Border Builders Die Set (grass), Silly Stitched Die Set, Speech Bubbles Die Set, and Stitched Mats: Circles (sun).

Next up is an adorable treat idea that won't break the bank for classroom parties!  I used some inexpensive Halloween pencils along with those yummy Hershey's Miniatures.  I've used the new Halloween Word Tag Dies along with an older product called Stitched Ghosts Die Set to create a fun treat tag.  I adhered a candy bar and it's fun "tag" to the pencil wtih a glue dot and black tulle.

Lastly, I have a card using the new Wonky Rectangles Dies and the Bat Hugger Stamp and Die Set.  I kept this card simple and made a fun colorful shaker with the Bat Hugger Die.  I know my daughter will love this!  All of my sequins (from Pretty Pink Posh) match my fun star pattern paper!

Lil' Inker Designs Release: Day 1

Amy_ReapAHarvest

Welcome to Day 1 of the Lil' Inker Designs September Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps for this fall season.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from Angel Rivera's blog.   Guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

I'm starting the release off with some projects that are geared toward the upcoming "fall" season......Reap A Harvest stamps and Dies and Pumpkin & Flower Greetings.  Both of these sets are just gorgeous and have so many ways you can  use them!

I've used Reap A Harvest to stamp out my images from the set with pigment inks, overlayed with the black outline stamps, and die cut.  To prep my card base, I sponged Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Inks and overlayed an older product, Leaf Pattern Cover-up.  I arranged my stamped images and adhered with glue and foam adhesive.  The die cut word, Grateful (from Dual Stitched Pumpkin and Grateful Word Die Set), was done in black and adhered.  A few gold sequins were added from Pretty Pink Posh.

Next, I'm using the Pumpkin & Flowers stamp set and coordinating Dual Stitched Pumpkin and Grateful Word Die Set.  The pumpkin came to life with the use of Copics and die cut out.  The sentiment was white heat embossed onto brown cardstock, trimmed, and attached with foam adhesive.  I attached the pumpkin to 2 layers of Stitched Mats: Squares, one layer of vellum and one with brown cardstock but between I added a mess of gold thread.

Let's talk about that amazing Stitched Woodgrain Cover Up Die.  It's one of my favorites from a previous release.  I used the woodgrain die on some deep orange carstock and then added shading around the edges with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.
