Lil' Inker Designs December Release: Day 3

Amy - So Prickly

Welcome to Day 3 of the Lil' Inker Designs December Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps that are so perfect for lots of occasions.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from Sarah Jay's blog.   But guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

Today, I am finally sharing the adorable new set So Prickly and coordinating So Prickly Paper Pack!  There are just so many possibilities with these stamps!

I've stamped my cactus "lady" onto a white Dotted Tag with pigment inks and layered it with a small Sunshine Die and Clouds.  These So Prickly papers are so fun!  Here I've used the Stitched Mats: Rectangles to make a mat for my tag.  Lots of foam dimension on these layers!  My favorite part?  The punny sentiment!

Now for the fun part!  There is a $15 gift certificate up for grabs for one lucky person who comments along the way!  One winner is chosen for each day!!

December Verve Diva Inspiration Hop!

Diva Hop2

It's time for the Verve Divas to bring you our monthly Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop! There are two ways to win Verve prizes: comment on the design team's blog hop posts (linked below) to see their take on the inspiration, then go get inky and link up your take on the challenge to be eligible in our prize drawings! You have until January 5 to link up, so feel free to play as often as you like.

Our December challenge is Cup of Kindness

Everywhere you look this time of year there's a flurry of color. Shiny ornaments, twinkling Christmas lights, window displays decked out in the merriest of brights. And not to mention all the sweet little wassail, hot cocoa, tea and coffee cups all around. So this month we're challenging you to share a cup of kindness with us. Get inspired by the graphic or blaze your own color trail, just show us some colorful creations!

I've used a combination of several Verve sets to create my card.  I started with this bold black tag from Holiday Treats and stamped a sentiment from Coffee.  My little stack of cups (from One Cup) were stamped, diecut, and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  Everything was adhered to a watercolored background of Distress Inks.....Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron, and Salty Ocean.  And finally, I added a black glittered "Coffee" diecut sentiment!  (Iridescent sequins from Pretty Pink Posh)

Lil' Inker Designs December Release: Day 2

Amy - Inky Flowers2

Welcome to Day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs December Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps that are so perfect for lots of occasions.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from Jen Carter's blog.   But guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

First up today, is a fabulous new stamp set called Inky Flowers and Dual Dotted Ovals Dies.  These flowers are PERFECT for watercoloring.  Here I've done some watercolor (with Distress Inks) on a panel, diecut with an oval die, and mounted with several layers for dimension.  I also used the new With Sympathy word die diecut several times, adhered together, and added offset into my floral panel.

My next card is something that is easily reproducable and quick!  All this card has is diecuts!  I've used the new Boxed Up Thank You along with the Dual Stitched Rectangles and Quilted Stitched Pattern Die.  This will make a perfect set of cards for mailing as they are mostly flat!  The Boxed Up die is cut from the Dip Dyed Ombre papers.

MonCheri2

Bonjour!  I have this sweet little number up over on the Avery Elle blog today using Mon Cheri stamps and coordinating Elle-ments.

I white heat embossed the adorable cherry images onto a black cardstock panel and diecut using the Sweet Scallops Elle-ments.  To soften the look, I've added a piece of trimmed vellum over the top adhering only the middle where my heart was placed.  The cherry iamges were Copic colored, diecut, and adhered to the Pierced Hearts dies from the Scalloped and Pierced Hearts Elle-ments.

Lil' Inker Designs December Release: Day 1

With Gratitude2

Welcome to Day 1 of the Lil' Inker Designs December Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps that are so perfect for lots of occasions.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from Chrissy Larson's blog.   But guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

For my first card, I've used an amazing new script die called With Gratitude.  I've been seeing a lot of bold script backgrounds with pattern paper so I thought I'd create my own.  I did diecut quite a few of these to make my background but it was so worth it!  I could have used a new sentiment to do this but I wanted texture!  To soften the look, I added a piece of vellum over the top and adhered at the corners with just a dot of glue.  Next, I added some Perky Posies colored with watercolors to a Dual Dotted Circle Die that was trimmed at the edge.

With Gratitude

Awesome

My next card uses the AMAZING new Cover Up Die: Diamond Lace.  I've diecut it out of white cardstock and layered it over a white panel.  To create my focal point, I've stamped the word Totally! (from the new set called Keep it Sassy Stamps) in rainbow color onto a new tag die called Dotted Tag Dies.  Do you see a theme going on here?  :)  And you can't say.....Totally, without using the word Awesome!  (Awesome word die was previously released)

Reverse Confetti December Blog Hop!

Blog Hop2

Welcome to the December Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!  This month we are sharing a new project and revisiting THREE of our favorite older projects of 2015!  You should have arrived from the Reverse Confetti blog to get this blog hop started!

My new project is a cute treat box for a friend of mine.  I've used the Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts and made a "window" box.  This way my holiday Hershey's Kisses can be seen through!  I've simply diecut and assembled my box with white and silver glitter cardstock.  I cut my window using the circle die from Donut You Know Confetti Cuts.

I've added a tag using the Square Tag Confetti Cuts and added a red foil reinforcer.  Love that it completes the look!  My sentiment, from With Love stamp set, was stamped in red pigment ink.  My tag was tied to my treat box with white tulle.
