Holiday is in full swing today with Holiday Bough and Joyful Holiday Wishes.

I made a pair of tags and a coordinating card using Holiday Bough.  All of the images from Holiday Bough were gold heat embossed and then Copic colored.  I created a spray of the images for my card and arranged them over a white heat embossed sentiment strip in black cardstock which was adhered over a layered white note card with the Layering Scallops Circles Cover Panel.

Holiday Bough

The tags were created with Fold Over Window Tag.  Each one has a layer of pattern paper from Winter Solstice 6x6 Paper Pad behind the window.  Images from Holiday Bough were layered onto the tags along with sentiment tags using Three Tags Confetti Cuts.  Everything was tied off with some red and white twine.

There are some beautiful fall and holiday sets releasing this month.......Lanterns and In All Things.

Emboss resist is such a great technique and especially for leaves!  Here, I white heat embossed all four of the leaf images from In All Things and ink blended Dried Marigold, Barn Door, Shabby Shutters, Fossilized Amber Distress Inks over the top.  Each of these was die cut with coordinating dies.

The sentiment was stamped in the center with bold black ink.  Broken China Distress Ink was blended around the edges of the card.  All of the leaves were added with foam adhesive and the edges trimmed.  Couldn't resist adding in some white gems for sparkle!

My second card uses the new Lanterns set.  It features two lanterns with several images to decorate it.  This set also has an add-on set called Lanterns Additions with a few more images and sentiments.

Lanterns

My white note card was impressed with the Big Polkas Cover Panel.  A strip of white card stock was added to the bottom that had a strip of polka dot paper from Darling Dots Paper Pad added.  My lantern (with vellum behind the cutout) and pumpkin arrangement were Copic colored and added to the card with foam adhesive.  A sentiment, from Sentimentally Yours, was stamped at the bottom of the card and as a final touch, a tiny twine bow was added to the top of the lantern.

Today I am sharing the two sets from Dawn Machell.......Pick of the Patch and Spooktacular.

I started off with a white Center Frame Cover Panel and ink blended Squeezed Lemonade and Frayed Burlap Distress Inks over the center.  The Copic colored images from Pick of the Patch were adhered with foam adhesive and the sentiment stamped with bold black ink.

For a fun touch, I ink blended my own orange plaid background to adhere my panel to!

Spooktacular

This card uses the fun new Circle Rays Duo Confetti Cuts which were cut out of left over ink blended panels from another project.  These were adhered at the centers to a white note card.  The adorable images from Spooktacular were Copic colored and added with foam adhesive over the tops of the circles.

Reverse Confetti / God Made Rainbows

Hello!  Amy K. here today with some rainbow inspiration.  We can't be tired of rainbows yet, can we?

I've used an older die, Diamond Stripe Square Confetti Cuts, to cut out six panels of Reverse Confetti card stock......Flamingo, Tangerine, Buttercup, Lime Green, Baby Blue, and Grape Soda.

God Made Rainbows

The Diamond Stripe Square Confetti Cuts was die cut once more in white.  This panel was adhered to a 4.25 x 4.25" note card and all the colored pieces were inlaid back into the white die cut panel.  The sentiment, from Perfect Timing, was stamped in the center with bold black ink.  Simple, easy card that is flat.....so it's perfect for mailing!

I created this card using one of my favorite die sets......You're My Type.

I die cut and assembled my typewriter, stamped my sentiment, and added some stamped and die cut florals from Beautiful Books.  My typewriter was added to a white notecard that was ink blended with light gray ink using the Laurel Leaves Stencil.  As a finishing touch, a few clear confetti were added.

Erin Lee Creative / Look on the Bright Side Kit Release / Blog Hop

Smile2

Hello!
I'm excited to be sharing a project for Erin Lee Creative along with the fabulous Design Team to show off the addition of some rainbows with the new
"Look on the Bright Side Kit".  This kit is meant to coordinate with the previous kit.......Somewhere.

Kit price:  $36.99
Add on Rainbow Alpha:  $19

Erin Lee Creative

My first card uses a fun color combination for a rainbow.  I saw this color combo on a shirt recently and made a mental note to use them on a project!

Using the new Rainbow die in the kit, the colors were die cut and pieced together.  TIP--I cut a free hand "rainbow" smaller than the die, trimmed out, and used this to adhere my rainbow pieces to.  Much easier!  The stencil from the kit was ink blended with a light gray ink and the rainbow was added over the top with foam adhesive.  A bold black sentiment from Rainbow Sentiments 2 was stamped and the corners were rounded for a different look.

My second card uses the solid rainbow stamp from Still I Rise stamped in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink.  Each "ray" was masked off with Post-it notes and Copic markers were blended upward using flicks of the hand.  I chose to leave the flowers uncolored since the rainbow was taking center stage.  Finally, the sentiment was stamped below.......I love this sentiment!!!
