Starting today's inspiration.......Butterfly Dreams.  What a gorgeous bold butterfly set!  Love that this set ties into other previously released sets!  I stamped the largest butterfly with the "Kindness Matters" sentiment in the Pink/Red Ombre Hero Arts ink as well as the smaller butterflies.  All images were diecut using the Buttefly Dreams Confetti Cuts.  I did a bit of ink splattering and all my images and main panel were spritzed with shimmer spray.  A few sizes of sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added as finishing touches!

Countdown to Confetti: Day 1

Unicorn Wishes

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti March Release!  We are celebrating with .....4 new stamp sets, 6 Confetti Cuts, and new Quick Card Panels this month!  Wahoo!  Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and more projects!

I always love starting the release with the adorable set from Dawn Machell!  This month is NO exception!!!  Introducing: Unicorn Wishes.  These mini sets just keep getting better and better!

I began my card with a panel of watercolor cardstock that I painted stripes in rainbow fashion using watered down Distress Inks.  I used that same palette to color in the Unicorn, stars, and shooting star.  Images were all cut with the coordinating Unicorn Wishes Confetti Cuts.  I couldn't capture the shimmer here but there is loads of Wink of Stella on the stars!

Sugar Pea Designs 2nd Birthday Bash Celebration!

2nd Birthday Bash2

Hello!  I'm so excited to be helping Sugar Pea Designs celebrate their 2nd birthday!

My non-traditional birthday card uses a sentiment from Special Delivery stamped in rainbow fashion onto a panel that was diecut using the amazing Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles.  Rainbow colors scream birthday, right?  :)  To add an embellishment, I diecut the letter from Special Delivery Accents and colored the tiny heart with Copic R29.  All the panels were offset just a bit to jazz it up.

2nd Birthday Bash

Texture via embossing folder!

CAS(E) this Sketch

Hello!  Stopping by with a card for the current (and ending soon) CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge.  I loved the simplicity of this sketch but ended up doing my own thing.  :)

I used the Flower Wrap Confetti Cuts to cut a piece of kraft wrapping paper.  I love this paper because it has stripes and is much thinner than cardstock!  I added blooms from scraps of watercolor paper that I already had done and a few vellum leaves from Leafy Confetti Cuts.

My diecut sentiment from Fancy Words Confetti Cuts was layered onto a tag from In the Bag Confetti Cuts.  All this was layered onto my top folding notecard that was "impressed" with a polka dot embossing folder for "texture"!  I simply laid my paper over the raised portion of the EF (leaving the EF open) and ran it through my Big Shot.

I also am going to link this up to the Simon Wednesday Challenge Touchy Feely: Add Texture!

Floral Thank You

Floral Frame

Hello!  By chance if you missed my post last week for the Spring Avery Elle Release Blog Hop, make sure to click HERE for my card.

This week I am sharing a CAS card made with a similar set called Floral Frame,  This set is beautiful as it has dies that match the flowers called Floral Frame Ellements.  This set is perfect for watercoloring and this week I chose to work with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and white heat embossing.  The color in these markers is incredible.....I painted just tiny bits of color and blended with my waterbrush.  I also heat embossed the matching flowers from the set and colored to match.  Then I could add dimension to my florals with foam adhesive.  You can NOT see it here but the dimensional florals have tons of Wink of Stella on them!!!  To finish, I've added lots of 4mm Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Lil' Inker Designs Release: Day 2

Amy - Egg2

Welcome to Day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs March Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps that are so perfect for EASTER.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from Heather Hoffman's blog.   But guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

Today I thought I'd start sharing some of the fun EASTER stamps and dies from the new release!  My card today uses the Egg & Flower Greeting Stamps along with the Dual Stitched Egg.  I began with white heat embossing one of the egg images from the set onto watercolor paper and watercoloring the images loosely.  Once this was dry, I stamped my sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black.  Remember those Bunnies & Bows dies released last year?  This year the set called Easter Hodge Podge coordinates with the bunnies!  I've layered my Easter images over a Quilted Stitched Pattern panel and added some "grass" using the Fringe Flower Die that had been watercolored with green.  A few Pink Blush sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added to finish this.

With this release, there are several new *products* that Lil' Inker Designs is offering which are PERFECT for those treats for any occasion.  There will be Kraft and Clear Pillow Boxes, Clear Gift Boxes, and Clear Cone Treat Baggies.  I've used the Clear Cone Treat Baggie to add some Easter Peanut M&M's (really are there anything better???).  To finish this off, I stamped the Happy Easter sentiment onto a diecut Embossed Dots Tag and tied it off with baker's twine.
