S'more Love

Heart Tag Toppers3

Hello!  I'm back to share another card made with the new release stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti!  If you missed last week's release........check it out HERE.

Isn't this new set by Dawn Machell just too cute for words?  Besides that, the name of the stamp set......S'more Love!  Seriously.....CUTE.  This card is packed with new goodies from the release.  Starting out with the new Heart Tag Toppers Dies........here I've used the tag and topper to make a little love scene.  My images were colored in with Copics and lots of Wink of Stella!  I didn't want a distracting background, so I diecut several of the Double Heart Garland Confetti Cuts in white and layered them as my background!

MFT Guest Designer--You're a Gem

Hello......I am so excited to be joining My Favorite Things this month as a Guest Designer!  With this past release, LOVE is certainly in the air and I couldn't be happier to craft for this holiday!  I just fell in love with these new tags in the Dienamics Tag Builder Blueprints 5.  There is stitching and double stitching and so many extra details included in this set that I decided to focus on them for my card.

My Favorite Things

I began by doing a watercolor background with a very diluted Candied Apple Distress Ink palette and to make it even lighter, I dabbed the ink off with a paper towel.  I love the soft shade of pink it became!  I diecut and layered 3 tags together for dimension and added in the tiny double stitched square in Steel Grey.  I also watercolored a scrap of watercolor paper with the same shade to use for diecutting the small hearts as well.

My main image is from LJD called All Heart.  This set has adorable punny images and stamps.  The larger "Gem" was white heat embossed and watercolored.  This heart was adhered with foam adhesive to the center of my tag frame.  My sentiment from All Heart was stamped inside the small rectangle frame.  This space is perfect for these sentiments!

To add some finishing touches, I've added diecut arrows and hearts from the Dienamics Tag Builder Blueprints 5.  Some were cut out of Steel Grey and some out of the watercolor scrap.  To add some sparkle and shine, I coated the hearts and "gem" with Clear Wink of Stella.  I just love the shimmer!  This whole watercolor panel was adhered off center to a Steel Grey notecard.

Reverse Confetti January Blog Hop!

Mini Envie

Welcome to the January Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!  Have you seen some amazing new stuff this week from Reverse Confetti?  With 4 new stamp sets, 7 new Confetti Cuts, and new QCP.....there is something for everyone for the upcoming LOVE holiday!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog and I am the next stop! It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!  The new release is AVAILABLE now!

My first project uses the new Confetti Cuts---Mini Envie.  Oh this die is adorable!  I love that I could use some of that double sided pattern paper to make the cutest little envies!  I used some neutral pattern paper so I was able to layer some hearts (from Stamped Note) and diecut words (from Lovely Words).  I also tucked in some Layered Laurels Confetti Cuts in light pink for a cute touch.

One more project........this one uses the new set, Big Notes.  I've stamped an entire background using the XOXO stamp and added a trimmed piece of vellum as an overlay.  I love how this softens the bright red background.

Forever

To the front of my card, I've added a diecut heart from Stamped Note Confetti Cuts and a diecut word from Lovely Words Confetti Cuts.  The sentiment from Lovely Words Coordinates was stamped and tucked under the "forever" diecut word.  A few sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh for a bit of sparkle were added!

Countdown to Confetti: Day 2

S'more Love

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti January Release!  We are celebrating with .....4 new stamp sets, 7 Confetti Cuts, and new Quick Card Panels this month!  Wahoo!  Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and more projects!

Today we are sharing projects using the adorable new set from Dawn Machell called S'more Love.  Another addition to the "critters" previously released!

I've diecut and colored my images and it's hard to see but I added lots of Wink of Stella to the hearts, flames, and scarf on the penguin.  It gives it lots of sparkle without bulk of sequins or other embellishments.  All my images were layered over a new die that fits right in with previously released products..........Stamped Note.  The middle line is actually an embossed line and I've used the rounded rectangle die from Class Act Confetti Cuts to cut a layer from the new All Heart Quick Card Panels.  Some solid twine in Maraschino tied in a bow finishes the card.

Pretty Pink Posh New Release Blog Hop!

Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh New Release Blog Hop!  You should have arrived from new DT member Heather Hoffman's blog.  Paulina recently released more amazing dies and sequins!!  They are so so adorable and you will want them all!  :)

I have fallen in love with these new Scallop Squares dies!  I wanted to build on BOTH of these dies so I of course made a shaker card using some of the new sequins as well!  These dies are a Pretty Pink Posh EXCLUSIVE so go buy them now!

I love love the colors of sequins in the new mix called Sweet Pea so I played on that for a card that could be for a new baby girl!  I've also used the new Mini Iridescent Star Confetti in my shaker too!  I layered some stamped and diecut umbrellas from the Rainy Days stamp set on the font of my shaker.

Sponging with a stencil

Welcome to 2016!  I officially took 2 weeks off from crafting to enjoy the holidays (and birthdays in our family).  I sure enjoyed the time off but now that those are all over it's time to get started on some cards for the rest of the new year.  So stay tuned as there are some amazing new releases right around the corner!!!!  :)

Here's a birthday card I created and shared over on the Taylored Expressions blog earlier this week.  It uses a great die as a "stencil" along with some sponge daubers to add color.  I love how this background turned out!

Don't forget to check out the post linked above for the full tutorial on how I created my background!
