Hello!

It's time for the monthly cardmaking kit from Taylored Expressions!

This month it is all about FLORALS and FLUTTERS.

Florals & Flutters Cardmaking Kit

My first cards use the cardmaking kit along with 6x6 maps to make creating multiple cards a cinch!  For my cards, I've used the Take Two - Beads & Blooms Stencil with Bleu Cheese cardstock and coordinating ink.  Each card uses the new sentiment set, Softly Spoken, white heat embossed.

My second card uses a softer palette of colors including Royal Icing, Pineapple, and Sweet Corn ink.  This panel was gold foiled with Champagne Fun Foil using my Mini Minc.  Sentiment is from an older set called Hello Lovely.  The foiled panel was die cut using the Additional Arched Stacklets Dies along with the Petite Arched Stacklets Dies.

Taylored Expressions / Calendar Release

Welcome to the yearly Calendar Release from Taylored Expressions!

If you love to create calendars for yourself or gifts for others, there is lots in this release this year!

I've created some Celebration Calendars.  I spent some time foiling the months of the year in Champagne Fun Foil using my Mini Minc Machine.  The tops of each month was stenciled with the Mini Slim - On the Dot Stencil with coordinating ink color for the month.  

APRIL was decorated with A Tisket A Tasket Die Set - Easter along with a die cut sun from Here Comes the Sun Die Set.

MAY was decorated with A Tisket A Tasket Die Set in fresh, spring colors.

JUNE was decorated with the Let it Grow collection of stencil and dies.

Next, I a sharing a card made with a new product called Seasonal Scenes Layering Stencil.  I've used the bunny section of the stencil and after stenciling, was layered using an arch from the Petite Scallop Arch Nouveau Die Set.  The background is a fun, new stamp called Springtime Sprinkles Background (TE exclusive).

Taylored Expressions / Pick Your Pairings Release

Hello!

This is always such a fun release from Taylored Expressions because it is curated products that you all have asked for!

Let's just say this Create in Quad - Smiley Squad is AMAZING!  I mean come on......who would not love to get one of these cards in the mail??

This new CIQ comes with it's own clear stamp set with all the cute faces!  Ink colors used were Honeydew Melon, Pineapple, Royal Icing, and Cupcake.  I love the sweet pastel colors but just think of all the other color combos you can do with this stencil!!  I added bold black sentiments from sets like Bitty Strips Essentials and C'mon Get Happy.

Next up is the new Bursting Balloons die that you can make into a shaker or add a rainbow of colored cardstock for fun!

The sentiment is from the Foil It - All the Best Birthday done in Champagne Fun Foil with my Mini Minc.  My balloons were added over a card with the Pixie Dust background stamped in Pineapple Ink.

Pinkfresh Studio / “The Couture Edit” Release Blog Hop

Welcome to "The Couture Edit" Release!

Pinkfresh Studio always has amazing new releases and this one is unique and fun!

I had such fun creating this card using the new Fragrance Notes collection from Pinkfresh Studio.

I used Eucalyptus, Soft Lilac, Candy Violet, Lavender, and Regal Kiss inks for my color palette.  Some of these colors were used to blend the wavy background alternating light and dark.  The flowers and sentiment were gold heat embossed some subtle shine.  They were added to the background that was die cut using the Nested Elongated Ovals: Blanket Stitch.  The card was embellished with the Matte Gold Metallic Pearls.

Taylored Expressions / Easter Release

Hello and happy March! 

This week is the Easter release from Taylored Expressions and we're excited to share three new bundles, plus a cute gifting box & accessories.

I created a Mini Slim card using the Tisket a Tasket Die Set along with the additions for Easter!

I filled my basket with lots of blooms and the adorable bunny that can hang over the edge!  I used the Cross Stitch Mini Slim Stacklets for the background and offset the smallest one for a different look.

There is a new Giftables in the shop called Bitty Box Die.  It also has a Bunny Accessories Die to make the box into an adorable bunny!  I ran some Sea Salt Cardstock through with the Bitty Box Die and then used the Swiss Dot Embossing Folder to add texture to my bunny!  To jazz her up, I added some Sugar Cube Loose Glitter to the ears and nose.

Taylored Expressions / Hex Effects Cardmaking Kit

Hello! 

It's hard to believe it's already the end of February. This short month always seems to go by fast, but no complaints… every day closer to spring feels is a win!

This week we are releasing the Hex Effects Cardmaking Kit! 

My two cards are using some of the components of the kit and add-ons.

My first card uses the Year in Bloom Stamps from last year.  They have been stamped in Sugar Cube Ink onto Black Licorice Cardstock for a silhouette look.  The background was done using Spearmint Cardstock with inlays of some of the patterned hexagon shapes from the Hex Effects Cutting Plate Die.

My second card uses more of the shapes from the Hex Effects Cutting Plate Die.  The colors I've used are Plum Tart, Plum Punch, Dragon Fruit, and Dill Pickle.  This card also features the Hexagon Piercing Plate Die.  The sentiment I chose for this card comes from With All My Art stamps and coordinating dies.

I've used Petal Palette so I could focus on the ink and fun color combination.  Ink colors include:  Green Tea, Blue Raspberry, Blue Corn, and Plum Tart.  Lots of layers on here using Plum Tart Cardstock and A2 Large Scallop Stacklets and Stitched Rectangle Stacklets.  The main panel was die cut using the Quilted Cutting Plate Die.  A sentiment from Foil It - Mini Strips Sending was added with foam adhesive.  A sprinkling of Plum Punch Glitter Drops were added to finish.
