Taylored Expressions / Nature's Canvas Cardmaking Kit

It's the last Tuesday of the month and that means it's time for a new kit at Taylored Expressions! The Nature's Canvas Cardmaking Kit features beautiful floral illustrations that are perfect for so many different coloring techniques. My first card uses the poppy inspired image in the blended colors of Sweet Corn, Cilantro, Dill Pickle, and Sweet Potato using the stencils.  I've paired it with a bold Cilantro cardstock background that was white heat embossed with the same image.  The main image was layered onto a Rounded Rectangle Stacklets.  A new addition to the Bits & Pieces lineup are the White Foil Drops.....my FAVORITE to date!

My second card uses a soft color palette of Rose Water, Pink Champagne, and Dill Pickle inks blended over the stencils from the kit.  My blooms were tucked into a cutout background using the Label Stacklets 13 and the Diamonds Piercing Plate.  I added in those new Bits & Pieces White Foil Drops.

Taylored Expressions / Pick Your Pairings Release

Hello!

It’s time for another Pick Your Pairings release! Our amazing Fans of Taylored Expressions have shared their creative ideas, and we’ve brought them to life—ready to add the perfect finishing touch to your projects. 

My first card is a mini slim using the Foil It - Drop Shadow Sentiments along with some Magical Fun Foil.

My colors were Dragonfruit, Sweet Corn, and Gumdrop cardstocks using the Tall Tales Alpha Die Set.  I added in some coordinating cupcakes from the Gnome Alone Die Set - Birthday and frosted them with some Sugar Cube Fine Glitter.  For embellishments, a few Bits & Pieces Start Party were added with liquid glue.  Simple birthday greetings strip was added from Simple Strips Occasions.

My second card uses a new addition to the gnomes called Gnurse Gnome - Dress Up.  Fitting because I'm a nurse, this was fun to accessorize!

Her scrub top was stamped with the Bold Border Background Blocks in Sugar Cube ink.  The background is Talking in Circles Piercing Plate trimmed down and a simple black strip of cardstock was added to ground my nurse.  Sentiment from Mini Strips - Hello Add-ons.

Taylored Expressions/ Technique Week & Summer School

Hope everyone’s fueled up with their caffeine today! 

We made it through the time change this weekend and Tayored Expressions Virtual Stamp Joy. 

This week, we’re kicking off Technique Week with the launch of our TE Perforated Paper, along with new products to pair with the paper. Plus, we’re excited to open early bird registration for our Summer School event!

The Perforated Paper is so FUN to use along with florals!  I've used Woodland Blooms with a pop of Fruit Punch color.

I ink blended the Woodland Bloom in one corner and then rotated my Perforated Paper and ink blended the bloom in the other corner.  Black rhinestone details were added to the flower centers.  A simple frame, from Stitched Frame Stacklets 1, centered is the perfect placement for the sentiment from Sundry Sentiments.

This card uses Buds & Blossoms on the Perforated Paper but the paper was backed with Pineapple cardstock so it gives off a buttery color instead of the stark white paper!

My color palette:  Huckleberry, Eggplant, Pineapple, and Brussels Sprout.  A simple layout with an added frame from Fancy Feature Frames Die Set and a sentiment from Essential Sentiments.

Taylored Expressions / Calendar Release 2025

Happy March! 

We hope warmer weather is on the way as spring is on the horizon. This week is our Calendar Release with more options than ever before!

The new Perennial Scenes for the calendar is AMAZING and features a layering stencil!  But this can be used for cards too!

My calendar features the Sugar Cube Square Tear-Off Calendars along with the Perennial Scenes Bundle.

I used the Foil-It Mini Strips Calendar along with Champagne Fun Foil in my Mini Minc.  My color palette includes: Fruit Punch, Watermelon, Lime Zest, Cilantro, Brussels Sprout, Bleu Cheese inks.

Taylored Expressions / Talking in Circles Cardmaking Kit

 Wahoo!  

It's time for another AMAZING card kit from Taylored Expressions!  

Talking in Circles Cardmaking Kit is SO perfect for literally any occasion, gender, color combo, etc.!!!

I went GROOVY for my first card and used a fun retro color combination.......Dragonfruit, Sweet Potato, and Macaroon.  

This card uses the Talking in Circles TE Maps that are included in the kit.  They come in both Sugar Cube and Toffee (available outside the kit).  I also used the Stitched Alpha Dies with Black Licorice cardstock.  The circle panel was trimmed down using the Stitched Rectangles Stacklets and added to a Macaroon card panel.

My second card has a quilt theme and this sentiment from What's Cookin' is PERFECT.  

I used the Talking in Circles Piercing Plate Die as a template to layer the full circle die cuts onto.  I was able to then run the panel through my Big Shot again with the Talking in Circles Piercing Plate Die to add the piercing to the circles.  A simple frame from Frame in Frame Cutting Plate.

Taylored Expressions / St. Paddy's Day Release

Hello! 

This week’s St. Patrick’s Day release from Taylored Expressions is bringing the luck (and lots of crafty fun)!

Let's start with my favorite project from this release using the Happy Go Lucky Layering Stencil along with the My Lucky Charm Stamp & Die Combo.  My color combo was Pink Champagne, Dill Pickle, Macaroon, Sweet Potato Pie, Pineapple, Bubblegum, and Sprinkles.

I love the simplicity of this card using these stencils along with the magic that happens with them!  Anyone else grow up eating Lucky Charms as a kid?  I sure did!  I added a simple frame from Frame in Frame Cutting Plate using Dill Pickle cardstock.

My next project uses the Rainbow of Possibilities Stencil in the colors of Pink Champagne, Peaches 'n Cream, Banana Cream Pie, Mint Julep, Sprinkles, and Macaroon.  

After stenciling, the rainbow was die cut using the Sweetheart Shaker Die Set.  The rainbow heart was layered over a Cloudy Days Piercing Plate.  A simple script sentiment from With Love.

Pinkfresh Studio “Pure Bliss” Release Blog Hop

Welcome!

It's time for the Pinkfresh Studio "Pure Bliss" Release Blog Hop!!  I am sharing alongside the Design Team this month for this fabulous release!

My favorite product of these release was hands down.....Floral Field.  This stencil and coordinating die is just AMAZING!

I went with deep plums and oranges for this along with a Dotted Chevron pierced background.  All inks were Pinkfresh Studio....they are incredible inks!  The sentiment is from a new set called You Are My Rainbow.

Before my die cut was adhered, it was spritzed with a metallic mist.  As a final touch, Champagne glitter drops were added to the florals.
