It's called Tombstone Treats.

My daughter just moved to college so I created this duo......card and treat box, to give her!

My card started out with ink blending some Pink Champagne and Macaron inks.  Very lightly, some clouds were ink blended over the top.  I added in some tombstones in the same colors along with a marker that was white heat embossed.  The dies included in the kit are awesome because they include a "backer" for EASY layering!  I tucked the tombstones into some ink blended die cut grass.  I added some black rhinestones as accents along with tiny flowers from Garden Variety to make this more feminine. 

The treat box was SUPER easy to put together.  I do suggest using Scor-Tape for assembly.  My treat box was decorated similarly as the card.

Taylored Expressions / Pick your Pairings

Hello! 

It's an exciting week as we release the selected pairings our customers suggested!

  These are products that will enhance current collections or things that will make current products easier to use.

Let's get started.

My first project uses Fluttering Friends 6x6 Background that stamps all the butterfly bodies for you.  This makes it super easy to add stenciling over the top.  

I further used my stenciled panel along with the 3D Fluttering Friends Embossing Folder.  I'm also using a new product that was heavily requested......the Mini Slim Postage Stamp Stacklets!

My second project uses the new coordinating Baroque Bouquet Layering Stencils!  This is makes it so easy for those like me who don't really have a passion to color an image like this!

After stamping and stenciling, I went a step further and placed my cardstock back into my Misti and added a layer of Versamark so I could emboss the image!  I love how this turned out.  After die cutting, I decided to cut up the image.  I know.....it's scary after you have done all that work!  I layered my cut bouquet onto a panel die cut using the Pierced Lattice Cutting Plate.  The sentiment is using the new Foil It Sundry Sentiments.  However, I did not foil......simply used it as it was with the die.  To finish, I added in a coordinating frame using Mulled Wine cardstock and the Frame in Frame Cutting Plate and some Clear Drip Drops.

My last card uses a new background called Pixie Petals Background.

I decided to ink blend a background of Confetti Cake, Blue Raspberry, and Poblano Pepper.  Over the top, the Pixie Petals Background was stamped with Sugar Cube ink for a distressed look.

I thought a spray of florals along the side using Garden Variety would help elongate the Mini Slim card size.  I went with coordinating Blue Raspberry leaves for a softer, more blended look.  Another sentiment from the Foil It Sundry Sentiments along with Black Rhinestones, finish the card.

Taylored Expressions / Halloween Release

Welcome to the Halloween Release from 

Taylored Expressions!

Pumpkins, skeletons, tombstones......all the frightening things!  

My first project features the new Toil and Trouble die which I made into a shaker and used the new Bits & Pieces: Halloween Stars and Sparkles.  The cauldron shaker is backed with silver glitter paper.

I added lots of Sugar Cube ink to distress the Black Licorice cardstock that was die cut using the new Squiggle Stacklets.

My second card uses the new set Stayin' Alive which features these adorable skeletons "dancing".  

Creating a mini slim for this card using the Mini Slim Circle Window Cutting Plate, features these dancing skeletons come out of the windows.  The skeletons where white heat embossed onto Black Licorice cardstock.  The background was stamped using Zigs and Zags background done in Dragonfruit cardstock and ink for a tone on tone look.  To finish, a white heat embossed sentiment from Stayin' Alive was added along with Oreo Enamel Dots.

My last card features the Spooktacular Bundle in another mini slim card.

This one shows off the split background stamp called Halloween Scene.  I took this one step further and used the exclusive gift with purchase called Graveyard Shift.  The eerie night sky was ink blended with Mint Julep and Versafine Clair inks.  To finish, white splatter and a layer of die cut grass.
