November Essentials Release!

So excited to share some of the new "essential" products that I am so glad to have in my stash!!

My first card uses the new Folk Edge Rectangles to make a shaker card! This set of dies has the decorative "folk" edge but also has layering "plain" rectangles.

I've used the Folk Garden 2 Stencils and Hot Foil Plate in shades of blue and layered them over white Folk Edge Rectangles and tucking some behind the frame of the shaker. A Brushed Sentiments "Hello" was done in gold foil with the Brushed Sentiments Hot Foil Plate.

My second card uses the Darling Dahlias Stamp and Stencil Combo. I'm a huge Rifle Paper fan and have been gushing over their pajamas this season. (I can only wish as I would never pay that price!) This card and dark green background was inspired by a pair of pajamas from Rifle Paper!

This stencil set is absolutely GENIUS......to be able to finish a stenciled panel of dahlias with whatever background color you wish!! With a finished stenciled and heat embossed panel, a series of frames were die cut using another new "essential" die set called Blanket Stitched Rectangles. I created the background by adding foam dimension behind some of the frames and panels. The Best Wishes Hot Foil Plate was done in gold foil for the sentiment. Gold pearls were added as some subtle final touches.

Waffleflower / The Most Wonderful Time Challenge

Hello!

I'm am so happy to be a special guest for the Waffle Flower Monthly Challenge!

During this week of November, the challenge is to create projects for your neighbors and friends!

This challenge got me all in the mood to create some large tags for the holiday treats I make for my friends and neighbors! The Mandala Stencil Combo makes perfect snowflakes! How fun to make them layered up in all the winter holiday colors! TIP: I created my tags using the A2 Layers Die and snipped off the edges for some quick tags!

Avery Elle / Forest Dance Party

Hello!

What did you think of the newest Avery Elle release? It's SO good!

This week I am sharing a mini slim card using Forest Dance Party! I couldn't make a card without using most of these adorable critters!!! The grass and sky were ink blended with Distress Inks. The grass was die cut twice using a die from the Slimline Borders Elle-ments. The sentiment was selectively stamped to create this unique one! All the critters were added with foam adhesive onto the scene.

Reverse Confetti / Countdown to Confetti / Day 3

Today we are showcasing TWO Dawn Machell sets.........Polar Party and Adore Him.

The nativity images from Adore Him are just adorable. The images were Copic colored, die cut, and layered with cardstock for dimension. The background was made using the previously released Stitched Burst Cover Panel and Navy Blue Reverse Confetti Cardstock. A simply stamped black sentiment panel was adhered at the bottom to ground my images. To embellish, a gold glittery star was added.

My second card uses Polar Party.

I created the backround by ink blending Tumbled Glass Distress Ink over a panel of cardstock. Then the panel was die cut using both the Brilliance and Open Drop Cover Panels. A few images from Polar Party were Copic colored, die cut, and added with foam adhesive to the center shape. A few snow flake embellishments were added to finish!!

Today we are sharing projects made with the Retro Holiday stamps and Confetti Cuts.

I went very clean and simple with this first card stamping only the outline lines to the star images in black ink onto a white notecard. To finish this off a layered pink glittered Joy Confetti Cut was added.

This card uses the new Open Drop Cover Panel for texure on the background. Using the dies from Retro Holiday, a few ornaments were die cut and heat embossed with Princess Gold ink. A heat embossed sentiment and some gold gems finish this off!

Starting the winter release off with the beautiful Snowflake Season!

I found the most amazing embossing powder in my stash called Enchanted Gold (by Ranger). I don't think I've ever used it but it's amazing and full of shiny glitter. It is, however, very hard to photograph. I wanted a softer gold look to these snowflakes. I've layered the snowflakes over an All Lined Up Cover Panel that was trimmed at an angle. By cutting it this way, it left the perfect space to gold (Princess Gold) heat emboss the sentiment! A few off white gems were added to the snowflake centers for embellishments.

If you have a card, why not make some matching tags using some of the same elements!! The tags were die cut using the Circle w/ Burst Tag Confetti Cuts and layered with the Large Detailed Circle Frame Confetti Cuts. Snowflakes were added to the tags along with some off white gems. For the sentiment strips, the sentiments come from a new "FREE w/ purchase" set called Snowy Sentiments. (Please refer to the Reverse Confetti blog for details on this freebie!) I embellished the tags with gold chevron ribbon that I have had forever from TJMaxx and tied them off with twine!
