MSS Block Party Time!

This is the time to use those Market Street Stamps for a chance at some prizes!  The big prize is a Guest Design Team spot for next month!  The other prize will be a random pick and will win a prize package of stamps and goodies!
Now, there's been a new "little" release this week and if you have been keeping up, the illustrators have released some fabulous new stamps this month!  Remember, all the new releases are 15% off through November 11th!

For the holidays, I am going to try making tags for my gifts this year.......yes a far cry from all the fancy wrapping and bows that I used to do ages ago (way before kiddos).  But this way, I still get to include paper crafting into my holiday which I have missed!  I've used some images from the Country Christmas stamp set for my tags.

I was in need of a baby girl card so I used the cutest set by Julie Day Designs called Baby Basics.  There are so many little sentiments and images included in this set.  I just love this paper by Simple Stories.....Baby Steps.

MSS Block Party!

It's Market Street Stamps Block Party time! Can you believe school is in session already? For my kids, it's already been 4 weeks.  They are enjoying school and seeing their friends again after the busy summer!  So I know I will be needing several school themed cards this year, I decided to use the new sets Teacher Notes and ABC Background both of which were designed by the sweet Stephanie Washburn of Sweet Steph Designs!

Market Street Stamps Block Party!

Hi ya!  I'm back with another Kim Geiser inspired card using a new stamp that was just released last night from Market Street Stamps!  But more importantly, did YOU order?  Are you waiting on your new stamps?  Well, this is your chance to use what MSS you already have and come to the Block Party!

My card uses the new stamp set called Grow.  As soon as I saw this stamp, I knew exactly what medium I was going to use to color it!  However, I had to dig it out because I haven't used it in a long time!  Have you ever heard of Watercolor Palettes by US ArtQuest?  Well I have had the Stargazer colors FOREVER.  Probably one of the first things I purchased when I was a demonstrator for The Angel Company.  Now you can purchase them HERE and see the other color options!  I LOVE LOVE these!

Live Simple
The pearlescent and metallic colors are perfect and sooo easy to use with embossing.
I first embossed a white panel and embossed with black embossing powder.  By doing this, it is absolutely *almost* fool proof to color this in!  :)  The embossing resists the paint and so there is VERY little room for a mistake!

Live Simple

Here is one last pic to show the shimmer and shine of these watercolors!

We would LOVE to see your Market Street Stamps creations for the Block Party that continues into the weekend.  There may even be a prize up for grabs!

I love this stamp from the March Market Fresh Kit from Market Street Stamps.  Guess what?  You can still get your hands on this kit and this EXCLUSIVE stamp found in it........Find it HERE.  As soon as I got this stamp in the mail, I wanted to try this out.  Check it.......I stamped my lightbulb image on the wrong side!  After stamping the outline, I turned over the stamp and stamped the actual lightbulb image inside the outline!  LOVE out it turned out!  Such a great CAS card!!!

CAS-ual Fridays and Market Street Stamps!

This is an exciting post as the Design Team from Market Street Stamps meets up with the Girl Fridays over at CAS-ual Fridays for their post and a combined post over at the Market Street Blog for the monthly Block Party!  How fun is that?  This week's theme is Brown Paper Packages Tied Up With String!  And remember........CAS!

I decided to use one of the newest stamps, Believing Butterfly, that is available NOW over at Market Street Stamps!  Just look at the detail in this butterfly..........the details just really stand out.   I've had this kraft wrapping paper in my stash and was perfect for this challenge..........I just stamped the butterfly in a pattern over my kraft paper!

I paired this with some awesome twine from The Twinery and a felt flower made with the Fringe Flower Die from Lil' Inker Designs.  That wonderful sentiment is from another new Market Street Stamp set called Faith in You and was stamped onto a die cut Dog Tag shape.

Well, we sincerely hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and play along with us.  Remember there are prizes up for grabs as well as a Guest Designer Spot over at Market Street Stamps for next month!  Check out CAS-ual Fridays and Market Street Stamps blogs for full prize details.

How is everyone?  Did you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving?  As a nurse, I RARELY get time off around a holiday.  Well, this year I was fortunate to get all 5 days off around Thanksgiving!  There was plenty of time to get the food prepared, the house cleaned, holiday photos taken, and just time to enjoy being a family.  I even got to go Black Friday shopping which I never get to do because of my work schedule!  Yay!  So with all that out of the way, I ended up get a bad head cold and it's just hanging around.  Ughh.

So my blog has been quiet but it's just about to get busy!  Today is the Market Street Stamps Block Party!!  Break out some MSS and play along until your NEW stamps arrive!  There is a prize up for grabs as well as a Guest Designer spot for next month!  The past couple of days you saw limited samples using the newest stamps during the release but TOMORROW you will see a designer showcase......so be prepared!
