Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Lucky

****If you are here for my Sparkle and Shine Challenge post, please scroll down!****

It's time for a new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge!
The LEAD of Lucky will be invited as a Guest Designer in our next challenge!

I couldn't let St. Patrick's Day pass without using one of my all time favorite Verve sets: Lucky You.  I just love the detail in the sketch marks of the shamrocks.  I stamped the shamrock and diecut using the coordinating Shamrock dies.  I added my sentiment to panels that were die cut with the Border Builder Dies from Lil' Inker Designs and added a few Shamrock sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Lil' Inker Designs and Timeless Twine!

Final#2

Hello!  I have a very special post today as the teams from Lil' Inker Designs and Timeless Twine are teaming up to bring you combined inspiration using products from both companies!

I knew I wanted to use the Balloon Builders Stamps and Dies because well......the twine makes perfect balloon strings!  I didn't recreate the wheel here but everyone loves balloons!!

I stamped and die cut 8 balloons and added foam tape in two strips to the back.  To each balloon, I added a length of twine in between the foam tape (so that the balloons would lay flat).  I tied each bunch of balloons twine strings in a knot and glued to my card.

Final

The Timeless Twine colors I've used are:  Lemonade Yellow, Pumpkin Orange, Bubble Gum Pink, and Aqua Blue.

Hi everyone!  Merry Christmas!  I'm sending Holiday Wishes to you a little early!!!
Today is my last post for Timeless Twine as one of the Twine-istas for 2013.  It's been a fabulous year of sharing my twine projects.  Timeless Twine has been my go-to twine and I love using it!  Thank you so much Stacy for having me this past year!

I've used some fabulous Cherry/Olive baker's twine from Bella Creationz paired with stamps (Tinsel 'N Trim and Bring on the Merry) from Reverse Confetti!
Just a quick way to wrap up a gift card with a simple small kraft bag and twine from Bella Creationz.

25 Days of Christmas Tags

****If you are here for my Reverse Confetti Blog Hop post.......click HERE or scroll down****

I've made quite a few tags this year for gifts and YES I'm going to use them!  So I was excited to help my friend Tracey celebrate tags during her 25 days of Tags feature!!!  Have you seen her posts?  Amazing guests and fabulous tags......Thank you Tracey!!

My tag features my favorite winter set from Verve.......Glad Tidings along with the coordinating die Sweet Scallop Tag Die.  I decided to try watercoloring with my Wink of Stella pen.  After stamping, I simply watercolored where I wanted my shimmer!!!  Love the muted watercolor look with the shimmer!  Note:  I used the Wink of Stella pen over Dye and Pigment ink and it worked on both!!!

I saw a beautiful Christmas tree recently and it was the color scheme of Turquoise, Olive Green, and Brown.  I used these colors for my little ensemble here:

Reverse Confetti December Blog Hop!

12.8.13 #2

It’s the 8th of the month –Blog Hop time from REVERSE CONFETTI!  Last month’s release was full of holiday magic as well as some gorgeous everyday sentiments.  As we look forward to the holidays, it’s now time to start thinking of those small gifts, tags, treats, or just sweet notes of encouragement to spread the “Merry” to our friends, family and coworkers.  The Confetti Crew and a few other pals have designed some great cards and projects to give you just the creative spark you’ll need to make some of your very own RC magic happen!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Daniela Dobson's blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all of Reverse Confetti’s amazing stamp sets!  Don't forget to leave a comment along the way for a chance to win a $15 Reverse Confetti GC!!

I love to use my dies to create cards......Here I've used the Sweet Treat Tent die to make a card.  I simply laid my folded cardstock over the die making sure not to extend it over the side of the fold and die cut.  I then trimmed the flaps of the die off and stamped my card with stripes from So Stripey.    I stamped and cut several of the arrows from Arrows 'n Elements  and added those with foam adhesive.  I used 2 different sentiment stamps (Bring on the Merry and Dream in Color) and selectively inked my sentiments exactly the way I wanted it to read!  I LOVE LOVE this about Reverse Confetti's KEY Words collection!!!

If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog

How would you like to win some Reverse Confetti goodies of your very own?  Leave a comment on each stop along the way for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to REVERSE CONFETTI. Comments are open until Tuesday, December 10th at 2pm CST, and the winner will be announced on the “Wednesday in the Works” post on the 11th over on the Reverse Confetti Blog!

A few things before you hop along though, just to keep you “in the know”…

Special Delivery

Happy Weekend!!!  I unexpectedly got the day off from work today (we are open today so that patients and staff can enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday off).  So we have big plans to get our Christmas goodies put up......I hope we can enjoy some holiday music too!
I needed a little treat for someone that I won't see until after the holiday.........Just to wish happy holidays in a fun way.  :)

I've used some awesome new dies from Reverse Confetti!  I can't rave enough about these.....so versatile, timeless, and trendy!!!  I've used the Sweet Treat Tent Die and the Tag Me Dies.  You all need these in your die stash....seriously.

Here's my project:  To get started, I've die cut 3 pieces with the Sweet Treat Tent Die (2 white, 1 pattern).  The die makes prescored lines to make it easy to know where the folds are.  Adhere the pattern piece to the white base and assemble your treat tent.  I've used Scor-tape to adhere everything together.  I swear by this tape!!!

I didn't mention I added some of my favorite GHIRARDELLI squares to the inside with Scortape.......hehe.  Here's the front all embellished up with more dies and sentiments from Reverse Confetti.  Tying everything together is FABULOUS twine from Timeless Twine.......Olive Green.

Gift card idea...

Hi everyone!  Happy Sunday!  I'm on a long weekend and it's been so nice!!!
I have a quick and easy way to dress up a kraft bag using some Reverse Confetti stamps and paired them with goodies from Timeless Twine by Bella Creationz!!

I don't know about you but I give lots of gift cards for Christmas.  Instead of a store bought gift card envelope or box, I decided to create something using a small kraft sack from Bella Creationz.

I've used a small kraft bag (from Timeless Twine) and cut off the top to make it shorter.  I've used one of the stripe stamps from So Stripey and stamped it in white directly on the bag.  Then, I die cut 2 of the Sweet Treat Tents, trimmed down, and adhered them to my bag.  Embellished the front, added a vellum tag using a sentiment from Tinsel 'N Trim, and added a big bow using Cherry Red Twine from Timeless Twine!!  This is a perfect little bag to slip a gift card into!!!
