Avery Elle- Swans

Swans

Hello!  I have a card share today using one of the adorable new sets from the Winter Release from Avery Elle!
I created a focal point for my Swan by using the Burst Elle-ments (a MUST HAVE die from Avery Elle) and die cutting a standard circle in the center.  I backed my circle with a Tumbled Glass Distress Ink blended background.  One of my favorite things about clear stamps is being able to manipulate the stamp on a curve like I did here.  I think this sentiment placement is just perfect for this card!  Swan image and greenery were Copic colored and die cut with coordinating dies.  The main panel was added to a top folding notecard with foam adhesive.

Last minute holiday cards!

Hello and Welcome!  I'm in full Christmas mode now.......just trying to finish up some last minute handmade gifts and cards!

CardSet4

I wanted a design that was easy and quick to mass produce so I took out the large sentiment, "Wishing you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year", from the Oh Christmas Tree stamp set from SugarPea Designs.  This font is gorgeous and thick so it's perfect to stand alone on a card with some pattern paper from the Happy Holidays Paper Pad.

With the use of my Mini Misti, stamping the sentiment went so fast and I like being able to double stamp if it didn't stamp right the first time.  After stamping my panels, I added a curved edge to my sentiment panel.  After assembling, I simply added some Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh with Multi Medium Matte.  I love that these are essentially one layer cards and will require no extra postage too!

I hope you all have a very Happy Holiday season!

Valentines with Avery Elle

Wood You

Hello!  I have a couple of Valentine's to share that can also be seen over on the Avery Elle blog today that use two of the new released sets......Wood You? and Hedgehugs.

These sets are the smaller size, having matching dies, and just darling!  Wood You? features this cute beaver image with a few supporting image like the tree stump here.  I added my own "woodgrain" with a darker Copic marker for some fun!  The chevron panel, from The Everyday Collection Paper Pad, was die cut using the Wonky Stitches Elle-ments.  A few die cut hearts that were colored with Clear Wink of Stella were scattered on my card.  That fun sentiment was stamped onto a die cut Pierced Heart.

Hedgehugs

My second card features Hedgehugs and its coordinating Hedgehugs Elle-ments.  I decided to make a shaped card using the Scalloped Banner Elle-ments.  My images were Copic colored and added with foam adhesive for dimension.  A Raspberry Twine bow was tied around the top of the card.

Lil' Inker Designs Release: Day 3

Amy-Sassy Script2

Hello!  We are starting off Day 3 of the Lil' Inker Designs December Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps for all occasions.......have you seen anything you like?  You should have arrived from the Lil' Inker Designs Blog.   Guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

I have a holiday card to share using the new Sassy Script Capitals & Numbers stamps that are an addition to the previously released Sassy Script stamps.  Both are MUST HAVES!  I created my card using the Filled Christmas Tree stamps from the last release.  I did a little rock 'n roll technique to ink up my tree.  I then gold heat embossed the "Joy" sentiment with my Sassy Script letters.  My main panel was die cut using the Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles and added to a piece of gold foil striped kraft paper.  It's so pretty IRL.....and so hard to capture for a photo!  Gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh adorn the tree.

Lil' Inker Designs Release: Day 2

Amy-Corner Adorner2

Hello!  We are starting off Day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs December Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps for all occasions.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from the Lil' Inker Designs Blog.   Guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

Floral stamps are some of my favorite to work with.  The Corner Adorner stamp set is just gorgeous!  It features a large corner floral arrangement stamp.  I've white heat embossed and colored it in with Distress Inks.  I die cut the perimeter with the Silly Stitched Die Set.  To finish, I white heat embossed my sentiment in white onto a strip of black cardstock.

This next card is a CASE of a gorgeous card I saw over on Instagram from Natasha Valkovskaya (which I believe she CASE'd as well!).  I fell in love with this layout and the use of the die cut sentiment from a stamped panel!

I started by stamping a trimmed white panel with stamps from Modern Mehndi and the new set Friend with black ink.  From this panel, I die cut the new Friend Word Die.  This panel was added with foam adhesive and to finish the sentiment, a strip of black cardstock with white embossing was added.

Lil' Inker Designs Release: Day 1

Amy-Because

Hello!  We are starting off Day 1 of the Lil' Inker Designs December Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps for all occasions.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from the Lil' Inker Designs Blog.   Guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

I wanted to share my favorite product from this release........Quilted Stitched So Knotty Die.  If you love texture but not bulk for your cards, this die is AMAZING!!!  Just look at my background!  This die is an actual A2 size but I've trimmed it down here for my card.  The detail is gorgeous and provides a perfect backdrop for some florals from Fresh Cut Flowers when paired with the new Because Word Die and coordinating Because stamp set.  I colored the "because" word die in ombre with Copics and added it over a black strip of cardstock that was white heat embossed with the sentiment.
