25 Days of Christmas Tags / Hello Bluebird

Welcome to the 25 Days of Christmas Tags using Hello Bluebird!
My sweet friend Tracey McNeely hosts and this is so much fun!  Make sure to visit her blog for a complete rundown of this event!

My tag was created using the Stitched Tag Builder Die.  Using the largest tag, I used it to die cut a piece of paper that was stamped using the Country Gingham Background Stamp.   I added a glittery trimmed hill to the bottom and added my Copic colored penguin from Snow Play.  For the sentiment, it was stamped onto a speech bubble from Photo Stack Die.

Plaid hi2

Welcome!
It's time for the Crafty Friends Blog Hop!  We’re a group of amazing stampers that share similar paths…and we want to share our crafty projects with you!    We’ll be hopping each month featuring a specific company or brand…and this month’s favorite is The Stamp Market!

Check below for a code to use at The Stamp Market for TWO days only--November 20 & 21.

Amy, from The Stamp Market, has some AMAZING designs and seriously, her COLOR CRUSH line??  I *need* these colors in my stash!

My background was stenciled with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink onto a blueberry cardstock using the Plaid Stencil.  I added a Botanical Beauty die cut in white and then overlayed just the outline over the top lifting the edges.  Once simple die cut "hi" (from Scallop Frame Die) from grey cardstock was adhered slightly overlapping the leaves.

SugarPea Designs / Happy Holidays

Hello!  I am here today sharing some winter inspiration for you using Hey Winter.

The background was created by blending some Distress Inks over the Falling Snow Stencil.  My bear was Copic colored and die cut using the coordinating Hey Winter SugarCut.  A snowy hill was made using a stitched die from Card Front Element Builder SugarCut and was added with foam adhesive.

Happy Holidays

The bear and one of the trees were added with foam adhesive while the remaining trees were added flush to the cardstock.  As a finishing detail, the bear's nose was embellished with Glossy Accents.

Avery Elle / Polar Playtime

Hello!  I am here today with a CAS winter card.  Often creating a "scene" card seems overwhelming, right?  I wanted to share how I brought the "clean" and "simple" to this card.

Shop for Avery Elle HERE!

Polar Playtime

To create the "clean" part of the card is simply the background........keep the white space!  I did this but added color with a simple die, Snow Scene Elle-ments.  Several colors of blue Distress Oxide inks were blended onto a panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock and then die cut.  Once cut, the panel was spritzed with Clear Shimmer Spray and Crystal Stickles were added to the snow that stayed in place during die cutting.

Polar Playtime3

For the "simple", I knew I wanted to use this ONE image from Polar Playtime......the critters sledding.  I thought about what these critters would be doing and voila a simple panel cut at an angle becomes the slope.  Add a bit of fine glitter to the edge with a Zig 2-way glue pen......perfect snow.

The angled panel was added with foam adhesive over the Snow Scene background.  To finish, the sledding critters (colored with Copic markers) were added with foam adhesive and the sentiment was stamped out behind as if skidding down the hill.  Once done, a few white pigment ink details were added to the critters.

Reverse Confetti / Framed Floral

Hello Reverse Confetti fans!  I'm here with a floral card using some of the newest products released.  It may be fall/winter but you can make floral cards any time of the year!

Thanks

Using The Best Days bold floral cluster, the image was black heat embossed onto Bristol Smooth cardstock.  The image was colored using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  The panel was trimmed to fit behind a frame from All Framed Up Confetti Cuts.  Remember, you don't have to use the whole image!!!

The framed floral panel was adhered to a notecard layered with pattern paper from the new Winter Wonder 6x6 Paper Pad.  For the sentiment, the 'thanks' was die cut using the Thanks and Hello Word Duos Confetti Cuts in a coordinating cardstock.

Thanks2
