I created a beachy love scene using the wavy die from the Card Front Element Builder SugarCutThe background was ink blended with Broken China Distress Ink and the Sunburst Stencil in yellow over the top.  This panel was die cut using the Stitched Rectangles SugarCut and embellished with tiny white and brown dots resembling sand.  The adorable seagulls were added with foam adhesive along with some clouds from the Spring Scene Builder Cover Plate.

I couldn't love today's sneak peeks more!!!  The Life is a Picnic SugarCut is amazing with so many details!  If you like die cutting, you will love this set.

My background was created using another new product to be shown more later this week.  The background panel was die cut using the Stitched Rectangles SugarCut.  Picking out the shades of all the cardstock was so much fun.  Once everything was pieced together and adhered to the background, the Sunshine SugarCut and Sunshine Sentiments were added.

Ahoy Matey!!

Captain of my Heart is an adorable set with coordinating dies that I've paired with the new Pirate Treasure Map Stencil.  The stencil was inked onto a kraft panel using various colors of ink for variation.  The panel was distressed with the leftover ink on my brushes and then die cut using the Stitched Rectangles SugarCut.  The images were Copic colored, die cut, and added with foam adhesive.  The entire panel was added to a black notecard.

Reverse Confetti / Dreams Do Come True

Hello!
Here is a card that would be perfect for those new graduates on their way to holding their dream job!

Dreams2

To begin, a panel of white cardstock was ink blended with Kitsch Flamingo, Squeezed Lemonade, and Salvaged Patina Distress Inks.  This panel was die cut using the Oval Window Cover Panel Confetti Cuts and black ink was splattered across the panel.  Behind the window, some clouds were added using a stencil and Salvaged Patina Distress Ink.  The oval "frame" was added to the cloud notecard using foam adhesive.  The sentiment was stamped in bold black ink inside the oval frame and the sweet bear and rainbow (from The Bear up There) was Copic colored, die cut, and added with foam adhesive.  I finished the card off with some stamped stars and some shimmer spray.

SugarPea Designs / Beyond Grateful

I am here with an ink blended background die cut technique.  Thank you cards are always good to have in your stash!

Thanks2

Distress Inks are some of my MOST used inks.  They blend beautifully and make quick backgrounds especially when paired with a Cover Plate such as the Harlequin Cover Plate.  This background was created with Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks.

I added foam tape to the back of this panel right after die cutting (I let it in the die) and then added my white notecard over top.  While I had to adjust a few pieces, the entire panel adhered to the notecard.  To finish, the Thanks SugarCut was done in black cardstock and layered with a white outline.  A supporting sentiment, from Everyday Sentiments, was stamped and added with foam adhesive along with a few sequins.

Thanks

Avery Elle / Oh Snap

Hello!  I'm here with a Hooray!  Let's celebrate a birthday!!!

***Shop here for Avery Elle****

Oh Snap

I've paired the adorable mini stamp set, Oh Snap,  with the new HOORAY Elle-ments for a simple birthday card.  Spun Sugar Distress Ink was blended in the center of a white notecard.  The Star Frame Elle-ments was die cut from light pink cardstock and layered over the ink blended background.  This panel was die cut using the Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments.

The word HOORAY was ink blended with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Inks and was added to the die cut stitched panel just above a 1/8" strip of black cardstock.  The sentiment was stamped in black ink below.  The alligator was Copic colored, die cut, and added to the Star Frame with foam adhesive.  To finish, a few tiny clear gems were added randomly to the stars on the Star Frame.

Avery Elle / Luau Party

Hello!  I am here with some tropical fun!
Creating a scene can sometimes be hard.  I've created a simple background using strips of cardstock and an ink blended panel to create a festive backdrop for my Luau Party critters!

Tip:  Use those cardstock scraps and cut 1/4" strips in the color palette of your choice over an ink blended background.  Distress Oxide inks work well with Bristol smooth cardstock along with splatters of the same color!

Using the Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments, the ink blended panel (done with Salvaged Patina) was die cut along with the stitched sentiment banner.  These little Luau critters were Copic colored and added with foam adhesive over the strips of cardstock which serve to "ground" the scene.

Reverse Confetti / Stock Your Stash: Hello

Hello!  I am sharing a Hello with you all!  This month's Stock Your Stash over at Reverse Confetti is all about 'Hellos'.

Amy_SYS_June2021#2

Simply put, Hello is one of the most simple things you can say to someone to make their day shine just a little.  This card uses the Scalloped Squares Confetti Cuts as border layers for my card using Flamingo and Piggy Bank Cardstock.  The HELLO word was die cut using the Letter Cuts Confetti Cuts.  The bottoms of the letters were darkened by blending Flamingo Dye Ink over them.  Two Copic colored floral sprays, from Beautiful Balloons, were added with foam adhesive to the corners of the small frame along with some white gems.
