PDCC66

Whew!  I'm just about late with this one!  I had very good intentions of making this challenge card before today but hey that's life!  I could not pass up playing along with The Play Date Cafe and their challenge this week........Black. White. + splash of color!!

I inked up this music background set from PTI for the first time!  Love this....going to be a favorite for sure!
This is pretty straight forward CAS card except that I kept trying to add more color and I had to keep reminding myself that 'Amy, it's a splash of color!'  So after having out purple inks and ribbon, I settled on these little rosettes from Michael's.  Just a splash!

Here's the inspiration photo from The Play Date Cafe.  I've also linked  this up over at the Creative Inspirations blog and the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge blog for their challenges too!

{I Love you So Much}
All supplies PTI unless stated.
Stamps:  BB: Sheet Music, Signature Greetings, FF #10
Paper:  Stamper's Select White, True Black
Ink:  True Black
Misc:  Rosettes (M's), FF #10 Die, White Satin Ribbon, Border Punch (EK Success)

THIS, Amy, is divine! I simply MUST have that background now. I've seen it, but I don't think I ever noticed the dimension on it and how detailed it really is. Love this card...really really love it!

Perfection!! This is my kind of card. I love everything about it. I would be happy always making black and white cards with a pop of color, but everyone else would be bored after a while:)

Beautiful! I think you did the right thing with only the tiny rosebuds in purple. And I have to say that I love the music stamped in black on white. Such a simple thing, but WOW!

And what a lovely splash it is, indeed. Such a pretty card. If your gonna ink up a set for the first time, you've got to ink it up right. Boy did you ever ink it up right. I love this CAS card. Sometimes I feel CAS are too CAS (read:sparse), but you've manage to fill it with all the right elements that are totally pleasing to the eye. Beautiful.
