Halloween Gnomes

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti September Blog Hop!
I hope you have had the opportunity to check out the fabulous release this week.   Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for all the details of this hop and for a full list of inspiration and information.

Today I get to share my favorite stamp set from the release---Halloween Gnomes!

For my background, I combined paper from the new paper pad, This & That, along with a previously released pad called Darling Dots.  The dotted paper was die cut using the All The Stars Confetti Cuts and backed the cut out stars with blue glitter paper.  I hand trimmed the hill for my scene and added my Copic colored images with foam adhesive.  For the sentiment, I added the new die cut Trick or Treat that was ombre blended with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink.

Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and information on all the new goodies!!

Switching gears here for Christmas stamps.......Joyous Holiday and Joys of the Season.

These little angels from Joyous Holiday are so adorable!  I went with a pale pinks and yellows for this project.  I started with a Piggy Bank die cut panel with the Stitched Circles Cover Panel leaving all the pieces in place and adding a white Rounded Stitched Window frame with vellum behind.  I added a few Copic colored and die cut images with foam adhesive and a sentiment strip.

'Tis the season for gift giving around the holidays and what better time to create some tags for those gifts now!  The new Square Window Tag is the perfect size!

Joys of the Season

Using the new paper pad, This & That, three tags were die cut and layered with a rounded square cut.  This square is perfect for highlighting the bold images from Joys of the Season.  Lots of dimension and sparkle on these tags!

Today I am sharing a set called With a Thankful Heart.

For this card, I pulled out an old medium from my stash.......Stargazer Watercolors.  I started with black heat embossing the pumpkin image and then coloring in with the metallic watercolors.  I love all the shimmer!  I added it over the Stitched Note and Frames Confetti Cuts which was layered over a strip of pattern paper from the new paper pad This & That.

Today's sets work so well together.......Peony and Sentimentally Yours.

Is this Peony stamp set amazing or what?  I adore it--the bold lines and big images!  I Copic colored my Peony and greenery and die cut using the coordinating Confetti Cuts.  I layered my images onto a Rounded Stitched Window Confetti Cuts and carefully stamped the sentiment from Sentimentally Yours.  This was all layered over a pattern paper from the new This & That 6x6 Paper Pad.

Avery Elle / Holiday Skates

Hello!  'Tis the season!  I am here sharing a card using Holiday Skates for a rustic flare.

I wanted to hang my skates on some shiplap.  I created my shiplap in the background using 1/2" strips of white cardstock and swiping the edges in Silver Fox Avery Elle Pigment Ink.  I stacked them up on my notecard and added a white frame from Plus Frame Elle-ments.

Holiday Skates

I colored my images with Copics from Holiday Skates and die cut using the coordinating Holiday Skates Elle-ments.  I arranged the images across my shiplap background and adhered.  As finishing touches, I added the sentiment in black ink and some Crystal Stickles to the holly berries.

Happy Halloween

My first card uses the decorative paper included in the kit along with the Happy Halloween Die.  I also paired this with the Spider Web Window Fancy Die where I layered vellum behind the web.  The Happy Halloween was done using Twisted Citron and Wilted Violet Distress Inks and spritzed with Shimmer Spray.  I love that it looks like it is glowing!

Under my Spell

We'll just keep going with the same color scheme for this next card using Pure Magic.  I just had to make this card for my husband.  A BIG birthday is coming up!  (shh 50!)

I ink blended the same Distress Inks used in my first card onto my white notecard and a piece of white cardstock.  I stamped my potion bottles in black ink and hand trimmed out.  I added some splatters of the same Distress Inks along with some coordinating gems.  I adhered my potion bottles over a black sentiment strip where I white heat embossed "You're under my spell".

Happy Harvest

My next card uses the gorgeous wreath stamps, Autumn Wreath and this amazing Copper paper included in the kit.

I scored a panel of the Copper paper and adhered it to my notecard.  I stamped, Copic colored, and die cut the Autumn Wreath.  I centered it onto my card and layered a sentiment strip across with one lone sunflower adhered with foam adhesive.  This card has so much shimmer from this Copper cardstock!

With Sympathy

My last card totally changes gears and goes soft and subtle for a sympathy card.  Using the Sacred Florals stamps, I colored and die cut one of the florals.

For my background, I impressed the Cabinet Door Fancy Die twice into a panel of warm gray cardstock and trimmed down.  I added my floral with foam adhesive.  To keep this simple, I added a stamped sentiment strip and some clear gems.
