Flutterby Friend Mini Blog Hop!

Are you ready for a fun blog hop?  I recently bought Flutterby Friend solely
because of this cardKeva's blog has rocked this set lately and this blog hop is for her!  hehe
She thinks this is just a hop showing off this stamp set in different ways but for me
it is dedicated to Keva for being such a great blog friend and creating inspiring
cards that MADE me buy this set!  LOL
Make sure to check the bottom of this post for the links to the rest of the blog hop!

I have been wanting to make my "own frame" using my
dies so I used some Nesties for this and then stamped my frame with BB:  Woodgrain.

My card is based off the sketch CPS #190 and the colors are
from the color challenge over at Color Cue {9}.

Alrighty now, you must hop on over to the rest of the my friends blogs to see what they
have made using Flutterby Friend!

Color Cue {8} Challenge

It's time for another Color Cue Challenge....this one using some fantastic colors!
I pulled out my new Wreath for all Seasons set from PTI.  This set is fantastic....it lends itself
to soo many possibilities for every season.  I decided to use it as a Christmas wreath and
get one of my Christmas cards out of the way!

I have to give a "shout out" to my good friend Jen, at Jen's Ink Spot,  for the inspiration for the "berries" on
my card.  She was chosen as one of the Wplus9 Color Cue "picks" last time around
for her fabulous tree card that she did knots on.  Check it out here...one beautiful card!

Do you know how long it's been since I'd done French Knots?
Forever......Like 25 years ago forever.  I can still remember my Grandma
teaching me this when I was younger.  I will be sure to use this on my cardmaking again soon!
I'd forgotten how fun it is to do!

Why don't you come try this challenge out too?  When you do, make sure and link up!

As always, thanks so much for taking time to leave comments!  They are so fun to read!
Have a beautiful day!

Challenges....

I love to participate in challenges......they really make you think outside the box.  My card here is for several challenges......This one is a challenge of my own:  to use a new die I bought at my LSS the other night from MFT.   It's a new Rounded Banner Trio Die-namics that is debuting with the MFT September release!
This die cuts out all three layers you see here so that
you can have perfectly even layered banners!!  I wanted to use it as scallops here instead of as a banner.

I was late posting this for one of the challenges but here is the other one:
