SugarPea Designs--August Sweet Peek Day 1

Hello!  I am excited to share some of the projects I've been working on for the brand new fall release for SugarPea Designs!  Each day this week, we will be sharing inspiration using the new release.  With several new stamp sets, matching dies, and even a new paper product.......there's something you are sure to love!  The entire August Product Release will be available starting Friday, August 26th at 6pm EST in the SPD Store.

I had so much fun with my first project........it uses the new FarmScape die.  I die cut it out of white cardstock, added some color with Copics, and added some extra diecut pieces (included with the die--like the barn trim, fence, tires, etc).  My scene was assembled and adhered to a Stitched Flag that was sponged with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  My sentiments, from Barn to be Wild, were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Some tiny cloud dies, from Whatever the Weather, were added to the sky.  A bit of burlap twine was tied around my Stitched Flag and then the flag was adhered with foam adhesive to a top folding notecard that was layered with the red gingham paper from the new Countryside Charm paper pad.

My second project is a card that already is set aside for my neighbor for her birthday.  She has chickens and loves them (and is a good egg.....LOL!)  Using the chicken wire pattern paper from Countryside Charm, I trimmed off a section and layered it onto a piece of dark grey cardstock that was adhered to a top folding notecard.  For my scene, I used a rectangle from Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles in light blue and added a bottom section of green.  All of my chicken images are from the new set.....Best of Cluck and were colored with Copics and die cut with the coordinating Best of Cluck dies.  My rectangle scene was adhered with SugarPuff Foam Sheets.
