With Sympathy

Sympathy........I always have trouble with these types of cards.   I know I am not alone.  So when it's time and I need one.......I never have one in my stash.  Enter, today.  I sat down and made this card using some fabulous Verve stamps.

I started out with a Soft Stone scrap of cardstock and heat embossed the blooms and greenery from Great Friend using White Filigree Embossing Powder.  Onto a strip of vellum, I heat embossed my sentiment, from Treasured Words, using black embossing powder.  I just love how the blooms can be seen through the vellum!!!

I know what you mean about having sympathy cards on hand. They are so hard to make. This one is so pretty with the white embossed flowers on the Soft Stone. I've always loved that combo.
