Wow, the new year is finally here! There are so many things I am looking forward to this year: of course there are crafty goals but most importantly creating family memories. In my household, we've started the new year off with sickness. It's just no fun to ring in the new year with fevers, sneezing, coughing, body aches, etc. but I love them just the same!
The one thing I'm most excited about crafty-wise to start the new year is: CHA. Yep....I'm making the trip and extending it into a little family vacation time too! So excited for next weekend!
I've created a super super CAS card using a word that I'm focusing on this year: LOVE. After diecutting several "love" words from cardstock, I layered them for the faux chipboard look and laid down some Kelly Purkey Washi. Super simple!
With the new year comes a new challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays! Instead of a resolution, choose a word that describes what you hope for the new year.
maybe it's love if you want to work on your relationships, or do if you want to challenge yourself to something, or laugh if you want to lighten up, etc.
Use that word on your card.
The sponsor of this 2-week challenge is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps! Woot! Woot!
