Countdown to Confetti: Day 3

Today we are sharing a stamp set called Because of the Brave.  Such a fabulous set to honour our troops and anyone that inspires you!  Pretty simple card using red, white, and blue.  My sentiment was white heat embossed and some glitter enamel dots to tie everything together.

Lil' Inker Designs Release: Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs June Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps that are so versatile.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from Jennifer Carter's blog.   Woot woot!!!!  But guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

My first card uses the new Hello Beautiful stamp set and coordinating dies.  I love the multi-step stamping bird.  I started with a top folding notecard that was cut using the Silly Stitched Die Set.  I blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto my panel and added a die cut border from this set.  My bird was stamped in Altenew inks for their layering effects.  A simple stamped sentiment was added with sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

 Next up, my card is using some new dies called Fringe Scallop Border Builder Dies.  By using these dies, it "grounds" your scene and provides a curvy place to stamp your sentiment!  I've used the new Sassy Script stamp set to spell out "celebrate" for this birthday card using Party Pachyderms.  

Now for the fun part!  There is a $15 gift certificate up for grabs for one lucky person who comments along the way!  One winner is chosen for each day!!

Today's set is from the faith based series......My Heart Trusts.  I started with diecutting the Gift Card Holder Tag with one of the new QCP: by the sea.  My sentiment was stamped in the center panel of the tag which was added with foam adhesive for dimension.  Flowers from Rose Garden were added to frame the sentiment on the bottom.  As a last touch, a few sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added.

Lil' Inker Designs Release: Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the Lil' Inker Designs June Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps that are so versatile.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from Jennifer Carter's blog.   Woot woot!!!!  But guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

I thought I'd start off with some of my favorites from this June release.....who am I kidding?  I love them all!  ☺  Starting off with Warm Welcome and it's coordinating dies.  I diecut the wreath from kraft cardstock.  My flowers were stamped in Altenew ink colors and diecut.  The Welcome word die was colored using Copics in an ombre fashion.  These elements were all added to a white diecut Stitched Mats: Squares which was layered over a trimmed white card base that was diecut using the new Fringe Scalloped Squares Die Set.

Next up is a set called Mirror Mirror and coordinating dies.  Now, while I didn't use this set as a "mirror", there will be mirrored cardstock available so please make sure to visit the LID blog for all those details!  

I used the gorgeous frame and stamped in Delicata gold ink and die cut.  The beautiful scripty sentiment, from Mirror Mirror, was stamped in black.  A few flowers from Warm Welcome were added to embellish as well as a few "rainstones".

We are starting things off with some wonderful summer themed products.  First up?  The set from Dawn Machell........Mermaid Kisses and matching Mermaid Kisses Confetti Cuts.  

I started by doing a watercolor wash of Distress Ink to watercolor paper and diecutting with the new Scalloped Cover Panel.  I was careful to leave all the pieces in place when adhering to my top folding notecard that was covered in scor-tape.  Those pieces aren't gong anywhere!  My images were all Copic colored, die cut, and added with foam adhesive.  Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

2-in-1 with Avery Elle

Hello!  I have a 2-in-1 post today sharing 2 cards using the NEW Summer Release from Avery Elle!  It is such a fun release......make sure to snag some of the release HERE!!!

First is this adorable set called Ribbit Ribbit.  Isn't it just so cute???!  I've added lots of stitching detail with the Double Pierced Rectangles Elle-ments, Pierced Circles Elle-ments, and the Pierced Banner Layers Elle-ments.  The paper is from The Jewel Collection.  All my images were Copic colored, die cut with the coordinating dies, and adhered to a top folding notecard.

Next, I have another small set called that BITES!  What a great name for this stamp set!  I started by watercoloring my "ocean" blue panel.  This watercolor wash panel was layered behind the Burst Elle-ments.  My fish was Copic colored, die cut using coordinating dies, and layered onto my ocean background with foam adhesive.  I added some details to the piranha with glossy accents for the eyes and shading to the spikes.
