Hello! We are now past half way through our year of the 12 Kits of Christmas! This month our host was Kim from Cupcakes Cards and Kim. She sent us a beautiful color palette to work with this month.....nontraditional! Pinks, aquas, greens, browns.......Let's check it! :)

My next card uses more pattern paper and cute digital images from Pink Petticoat! I hoarded my other images as to see what the other girls do with their kits! hehe I machine stitched a couple of wavy lines at the top and left the threads messy at the edges. Using more of that fabulous pleated ribbon, I layerd my sentiment and image over a strip of this ribbon.
Thank you so much Kim for a beautiful kit this month! I can't wait to see what the rest of the group comes up with so I can CASE them. I didn't get a CASE card done this month....oops! Well, that's it from me today......go check out what the other girls have done with this kit!

I have 2 cards to share from this kit......I made more but will have to share those another day! I fell in LOVE with that ruffled satin trim in the photo above. Kim included her kit ingredients and it is from Stampin' Up. Oh goodness is it gorgeous! This first card uses a piece of pattern paper with a die cut word embellished with Stickles. Adding in the trim serves as the focal point which was then flagged with a button.

gorgeous cards! love the glittery inserts in the word and the sweet stitching above the tree!!
Amy you rocked these Christmas cards. That little tree image is so cute!
Both of these are so sweet, Amy, but that second one with that funky little tree and sentiment...LOVE!
These are so pretty! I am usually a traditional girl in terms of colors when it comes to Christmas, but I LOVE how soft and sweet and pretty these are!
I love them both!!
Love the glitter to Holiday...
perfect...
and so perfect with that paper...
which I hoarded! ;)
And then that sweet tree...
Love the matting...
perfect! :)
This was a super fun kit...
loved the non traditional colors!
Now I'm "mentally" working on next months! :)
Simply gorgeous , Amy! Beautiful stitching on the second one too! Both are such peaceful cards. Enjoy your weekend.
Hi Amy - Two more beauties... no surprise there :) Love the first with all the stripes of color and so clever that you left the "bits" in the spaces of "hoiday" Love how sparkly they are - it adds so much interest and effect! Your second is clean and understated - The matting of the image is so elegant and I love the bit of stitching on the top - another perfect detail that is so eye catching!
I'm loving the gorgeous pleated ribbon and the soft pastels are divine.
So cute Amy! I love those patterned paper strips and the pink pleated ribbon with the big button and how neat that you left the negative in the die and glittered them...so smart. I love those wavy stitches on your second card. Very cute cards!
Amy, I love the stitching on the second one, the wavy look is so cool! And the sparkles in the sentiment on the first are really cool. Love how you showcased the ribbon and the patterned papers, too!
Hi Amy--For some strange reason, I can only see one card, but it is just darling. I love how you framed and highlighted that little Christmas tree.
Both are gorgeous, Amy! The added glitter on the first one is so striking and I love that ribbon and single button! Adore the frame for the little tree and the fun stitching at the top!
Amy...just too cute, I love how you used glitter on Holiday, just such a clever idea! Your stitching on your second card is so perfect too and that tree, so sweet. Both your cards are just too cute!
Lovely cards. Love the touch of glitter on the word and the stitching on the 2nd card is perfect!
Amy, I love how you matched the word diecut to the pink ribbon on your first card, and on the second - that layout is awesome! Love the stitching along the top and the aqua tree.
Your cards are so gorgeous and feminine! I'm jealous of the beautiful patterned papers you used on your first card. They look amazing with the ribbon and die cut word. Your second card is so soft and pretty, and the stitching is a fun detail!
The non-traditional colors are gorgeous Amy! Both cards are very sweet!
I LOVE when holiday cards are non traditional colors! What a fun wintery color scheme to work with! I LOVE the glitter in the "negative" parts of the sentiment! What a fun and very unique idea! That pink ribbon is so fun too! Make me want to use my machine on my satin ribbon!
I also love the aqua tree! So cute in pastel!
