MSS Block Party!

It's Market Street Stamps Block Party time! Can you believe school is in session already? For my kids, it's already been 4 weeks.  They are enjoying school and seeing their friends again after the busy summer!  So I know I will be needing several school themed cards this year, I decided to use the new sets Teacher Notes and ABC Background both of which were designed by the sweet Stephanie Washburn of Sweet Steph Designs!

 

 



 This month's Block Party has started and anything goes!  We just want to see those Market Street Stamps!

 Hello everyone! I had some time to play around with some FREE digi images from The Alley Way Stamps! I chose this cute fish and sentiment.  With the re-release of Finding Nemo in 3D....I just can't get that saying out of my head!  I think I may just pay 3D cost to see my FAVORITE Disney movie in the theatre!  My kids will love it!  Especially the part where Dory tries to speak "whale"!  LOL

Cloud 9 Blog Hop {September}

Eeeeekkk!  I almost didn't make it!  It {was} time for the September Cloud 9 Blog Hop and I did get something made but almost forgot to get it linked up in time!  And then my post....well, I left it in draft and unscheduled.  Guess that's what I get for having a busy start to the week!  So here is an updated version of my post!  ha!

 

This month's Cloud 9 blog hop was an inspiration photo of this beautiful outdoor scene.  I was inspired by the tree and the hanging birdhouses.  I knew right away what set I wanted to use!  I've been trending toward the less=more kinda card.  I like how this turned out; however, my photo doesn't show the lighter clouds very well.  Those cloud stamps are SOO fun....love how Dawn illustrated them with little dots!

Hi everyone!  It's Monday and I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!  We went to Worlds of Fun with my brother and nephews yesterday.  Love the great rides plus we had so much fun! 

 

Today I have a sweet little card using one of the newest releases from Market Street Stamps!  Illustrator, Julie Day, did an incredible job with this set!  It's called Nuts about Nature.

Mojo Monday

Hi friends! If you visit my blog, then you may know that I have a little love affair with floral stamps. They call my name LOUD....;). So when Verve had their last release, I couldn't resist the new florals! What originally caught my eye about Verve were the beautiful florals and the sentiments specifically the fonts. Certainly not the everyday boring fonts...but fun unique ones. So I thought it only fitting to ink up my new goodies for this weeks Mojo Monday sketch challenge!

 

I've used the new set, Brighter Days, for my focal piece and sentiment.  Not only did the florals attract me to this set but so did those sentiments!  Ok, I have to confess that I do not like to do angles or tilting of part of my layout but I made it work for this sketch!

 We are off today with my brother and nephews to World's of Fun......the amusement park I grew up going to!  I can't wait to ride some roller-coasters!!!  Should be a memory making day!
