Hi everyone! Summer is in full swing here with Summer Camp, work, and our annual garage sale this weekend. Our garage sale always brings in so much traffic. It's quite unbelieveable. We chalk it up to location!
Anyway, I have a card that was totally inspired by a card I saw down the card aisle at Target a few weeks back. Yes, I know.......the card aisle. I was totally going to just go buy some graduation cards because I had just literally ran out of time but when I was there......I couldn't make myself pay $4--$5 per card.....couldn't. do. it. So I went home and made my own! haha
Here's my card aisle inspired card for today using some Reverse Confetti stamps: Happy Harbor. I had some fun embossing the anchors in red embossing powder on navy cardstock. Turned out fabulous! Then lookie.........eyelets! I busted those things out again to thread crochet thread through!
I had to remember where I'd packed all my tiny eyelets!!
Hope you are having a wonderful day!
{Shore do love you}

Love this and well done for making your own ;) Though there are times one must give oneself permission to actually buy a card LOL!
Sounds like the garage sale was a big success too :)
Until I looked closer I thought for sure the anchors were diecuts. Yes, I find it hard to believe you would think of buying a card. Love this one!
Totally hear you on buying cards! I haven't bought one in at least 3.5 years. This is a fantastic card. Love it's simplicity and bold colors. Really a fun card. : ) Bev
Love the card Amy! I really love nautical projects and love the pop of red on the anchor!

This is just too cute. Love your bright red anchors and that sentiment is just so sweet.
You have made so many fabulous nautical cards, Amy. How do you do it, living in the middle of Kansas? LOL! Love your knots and red embossed anchors!
Lol... Had I known I would have come to your sale instead of going to scrapbook store this morning! Hope it went well!
