I have some fun things planned for the next two weeks and one is this weekend! I get the opportunity to travel for work and meet some of my blog friends in Boston......Suzanne from the Card Yard, Christina from Sea Glass and Sentiments, and Jessica from The Paper Parade! We are planning on meeting for dinner and I couldn't be more excited! See you tomorrow!
I used one of my favorite.....did I say favorite? color combinations!!! It just so happens to be the color palette for CR84FN this week! This month's blog hop theme was to use embroidery floss in a unique way. Here I used it and made french knots for the centers of my flowers and then did some stitching as a border!
My friend Jen will laugh when she sees this card........we've been talking about this embossing folder this week and yes I have to admit that am a bit absent-minded. Jen, I bought this embossing folder set a few weeks ago and wondered why it was familiar when you showed it to me! I had already bought it! That's what I'm saying that I have had no mojo........I hadn't even remembered I'd bought it because it's piled with all my things to put away! Oh my. I sure hope this happens to someone else!!

Too funny!! I was studying your card thinking, "THAT is the EF we were just talking about! Where did she find it!" And then I read...and laughed!! This is a really pretty card! The EF is divine (good word choice?) and I think I need it! :) Your border with the floss is super cute too!

Yikes, I'm still going through the blog hop. This card is sweet and elegant at the same time, something you do so well. Great positioning of the crossed stitches. I need to keep them in mind for future cards because they add such a special touch.
