Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Welcome!!!  I am so excited to finally participate in this hop as a coffee lover!  I have fallen for mocha, lattes, peppermint.  Maybe it's because my daughter got me started.  Maybe it's the season.  Maybe I'm growing up.  Whatever the reason, I have been enjoying our early Christmas present.......the Keurig.

I began my card with a black panel diecut with the Stitched Mats: Rectangles as well as a white polka dot piece of clear cardstock cut with the smaller rectangle die.  I've stamped my coffee cup, from Latte Love, with dye inks using my Mini Misti and used the coordinating die.  My sentiment was stamped in black on a thin strip of white cardstock and was layered over a piece of coordinating pattern paper.  The clear cardstock was adhered simply behind my pattern paper panel!  The only downfall to using this clear cardstock is static!

Reverse Confetti December Blog Hop!

One of the cutest dies I've seen and is being released today is the Mailbox Starter Confetti Cuts.  It a mini mailbox and is so easy to assemble!  To make this die cheaper, the rounded "rectangle" for the mailbox is simply a 1.75" x 3.5" trimmed piece of cardstock.  Here I've used a piece of chalkboard cardstock so I could write my daughter's name on it.

This card features the Outlined stamp set along with the neat interactive tag die called Peekaboo Tag Layer (just layer this die on top of a Topped off Tag.  The recipient can pull the bottom tab up to reveal the sentiment below!

Welcome to Day 3 of the Reverse Confetti December Release!

Figure of Speech is a fun speech bubble stamp set that is perfect for those hard to make teen cards!  I plane on making several to have on hand!  The speech bubbles were stamped in Grape Soda and Iced Aqua ink from Reverse Confetti.  They were layered onto an impressed notecard using the 2 Way Stripes Cover Panel.  A few Seeing Stars Confetti Cuts were added as embellishments.

Mouse Mail is the newest set illustrated by Dawn Machell.  IT IS SO ADORABLE!!

I've Copic colored the mice and added them to the new Bar Tag Layer and stamped a sentiment inside.  My tag focal point was layered onto a stamped white note card that was stamped with the envelope stamp from this same set.  I love how this turned out!

I used my favorite wreath stamp set called Funky Wreath-All Seasons from SugarPea Designs.  It was stamped using pigment ink and the berries using dye ink.  The polka dot background is from the Happy Holidays paper pad.  The scripty Season's Greetings is from Oh Christmas Tree.

Forever Friends

Hello!  Part of the new Avery Elle release was this adorable set called Hang In There.  It is a small set with some amazing coordinating dies!  

I couldn't use this set without using all the little animals.  I decided to have them all popping out of boxes!  The little box die is part of the Hang In There Elle-ments.  My animals were colored with Copics and a hand trimmed scarf was added to the bear.
