Little Tangles Challenge!

Hello!  I'm so excited to be guest designing over at the Little Tangles Challenge blog today!  Thank you Heather for having me for this challenge!

This challenge is all about WATERCOLOR.  This technique is so trendy right now and super easy to do!!

LittleTanglesChallenge1

I used the Sunburst stamp and the "hello" stamp from Everyday Labels.  I don't have expensive watercolors.......just plain cheapies from Michael's.  I clear embossed the Sunburst image onto watercolor paper and started watercoloring across the image with the colors I wanted.  After this was dry, I sprayed the Sunburst panel with some Smooch Spritz in Vanilla Shimmer.......I love this stuff!  It's perfect to add a little shimmer all over your project!!!

We would love to see your take on the Watercolor Challenge using some Neat & Tangled Stamps!!!  Thanks for sharing a part of your day with me!

Danielle's Special Delivery Blog Hop!

Hi everyone!  I'm here today with a ton of blog friends helping to celebrate a new baby!!  Danielle, from Neat & Tangled, had a baby GIRL!  We wanted to do something special for her so join along to wish her well and for some fabulous baby card ideas.  You should have arrived here from the Neat & Tangled blog to start the hop.

I had the pleasure of meeting and rooming with Danielle last fall........she is a sweet and lovely person inside and out.  It was so fun to meet her after working on her DT for over a year.  I even got to watch her design in her sketchbook....hehe.  Here's a picture I had to share of Danielle and I.......with a MDQ photo bomb!  :)

Congrats Danielle.....enjoy every second with that precious one!!

I created a little "onesie" shaped card courtesy of some dies and added a sweet "Special Delivery" message (from Santa Tags by Neat & Tangled) embossed in white on vellum.  The tiny button dies were tied up with mini crochet threaded bows.  I will never tire of Danielle's handwriting stamps.......they are just beautiful!!

There's lots of great ladies celebrating during the hop.......your next stop is Jessica Pascarella!

a post for DAD

A quick post here using some fairly new goodies from Simon Says Stamp from the Pure Sunshine release.

I created this card using the Lots of Stars stamps and Simon Says Stamp inks in Soft Navy, Green Apple, Smoke, and Lipstick Red.  I really like how this turned out....simple yet perfect for a masculine card.  Since I don't have the actual "dad" die, I improvised and used the full card Dad die.  A few snips and you have a "dad" die!

CAS for CASology

Hi all!  It's been an exhausting week......won't go into details but I do have a CAS card to share using Whimsy Stamps.

I decided to play along with CASology this week as their challenge is "anniversary".  I used a little set called Feeling Fruity Additions for a little punny humor.  I stamped the inside of this card with Happy Anniversary and then added a few 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Reverse Confetti June Blog Hop!

6.8.14cardbox

 Hey there, Reverse Confetti fans!
It’s the 8th of the month and time for another sizzling Blog Hop from the Confetti Crew and a few other friends.  Summer is quickly approaching, so this is a good excuse to stay inside out of the heat and recharge your batteries with us!  We’ll give you a minute to grab a glass of lemonade as we hop along together and share some crafty goodness with you!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Daniela’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all of Reverse Confetti’s amazing stamp sets!

This month we are featuring ways to use Reverse Confetti's stamps and dies in FUN ways......you need to see the inspiration from the DT.......just sayin'!!!  :)

I decided to make a set of mini cards/envies and matching gift box.  I've used the dies and stamps for Class Act from Reverse Confetti and added in some Office Edges Confetti Cuts to make them a "shaped" card.  I used my envelope punch board to make my matching envies in some fun polka dot paper!
