Reverse Confetti January Blog Hop!

Love You More Tag2

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti January Release Blog Hop!
We just released .....4 new stamp sets and 10 Confetti Cuts, True Love 6x6 paper pad, Hearts stencil, and new colors of Cardstock and Ink! Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and more projects!  All the new products are NOW AVAILABLE!!

When this Love You More Tag Layer arrived in my DT package, I was in love!  This is something that my hubby and I have said to each other since we got married.  So I created this card, for him, for Valentine's Day!

The Love You More Tag Layer Confetti Cuts was done in black with a vellum backing done with the full size coordinating tag from Topped Off Tag Layer Confetti Cuts.  2 hearts were cut using the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts, layered, and added to the top of the tag.  To finish, the tag was simply added over a piece of houndstooth paper from True Love 6x6 paper pad.

Next up, is the ADORABLE little Goodie Box Confetti Cuts!  It seriously is one of the easiest boxes to assemble!  I created a little window in one of the sides, using Goodie Box Additions, so you can see the sweets tucked inside!  My sentiment, from Crazy About You was stamped onto one of the tag dies from Goodie Box Additions.  I punched 2 small holes with my hole punch and threaded my tag and some black burlap twine to close with a bow.  Super cute!

Countdown to Confetti: Day 3

My Rock2

Welcome to Day 3 of the Reverse Confetti January Release!
Did you see that we are releasing .....4 new stamp sets and 10 Confetti Cuts this month as well as the True Love paper pad, 4new colors of CARDSTOCK and INK, and a new Stencil?  This month's release is stellar.    Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and information on all the new goodies!!

Today we switch gears a bit and share the faith based stamp set releasing this month called My Rock.  I've used it along with the new Cross Confetti Cuts.  I went with a very neutral color palette using white and Stone cardstock.  Using the new Hearts Stencil, I sponged Stone Premium Dye Ink over the top for a light background effect.  I've layered my cross and sentiment (heat embossed in Liquid Platinum embossing powder) onto a vellum die cut Lacy Scallop Frame Confetti Cuts.

I love a good pun and the stamp set we are introducing today is awesome!  Foodie Fun will be a favorite and is perfect for those hard(er) people at Valentine's Day!

I decided to use the "You're the JAM" ........I simply stamped the bread with brown ink onto kraft cardstock.  My sentiment was stamped with Flamingo Ink and diecut.  I've layered my elements over some other new stand alone dies......Tall Striped Panel and XOXO hearts.  This was all layered over pattern paper from True Love 6x6 paper pad.

My next card uses some selective stamping with one of the sentiments from the new set Crazy About You.  I wanted to pair this sentiment up with the the XOXO hearts Confetti Cuts.  I simply masked off the bottom portion of the stamp and stamped.  I added a simple frame from All Framed Up Confetti Cuts and some sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I'm so excited about today's card.......it uses the new Dawn Machell set and we have PIGS!!!  My son just loves pigs and bacon......probably more the bacon now that he's older!  This stamp set is so ADORABLE.......it's called Cured.  Isn't the name just perfect?

I started by impressing the new All Heart Cover Panel into a trimmed piece of white cardstock.  My images were Copic colored and die cut with coordinating Cured Confetti Cuts.  A banner was made using the new Heart Banners Confetti Cuts and the True Love 6x6 paper pad.  A few stripes of pattern paper from the collection were used to ground my images.  A tiny hand cut banner was added for my sentiment.

SugarPea Designs Mix it Up Challenge #27

Hello!  I am here sharing a card using the new Mix it Up Challenge from SugarPea Designs over at the SugarPea Designs blog.
Make sure to check out the blog for all the details!

Since this month's challenge is all about "Anything Goes", I thought I would make a birthday card for my stash.  I've used the Celebrate All the Things and HB2U stamp sets for a colorful card to celebrate!

Here's this month's challenge graphic......easy peasy this month!

Mirror Stamping with Avery Elle

Rocky Shores Dies2

Happy New Year!  My first official post of 2017!!!
I have emerged from the holidays and ready to get back to my craft room.  I had to take some time off for ME.......2 whole weeks.  It was much needed.  The holidays (for several reasons) always leave me in a funk.  These 2 weeks, I have focused on family and time with them.  It's been wonderful!

I have a CAS card using the Rocky Shores Elle-ments which are perfect for wintery cards when used as an icy shore!  I paired them up for a quick scene building card with the adorable penguin from Polar Pals.  Yes.....I said penguin.  Singular.  I used the "mirror stamping" technique to have another penguin so that it can look at the other one!

Rocky Shores Dies

Technique--Mirror Stamping

Stamp your image onto a solid stamp but be careful not to stamp too hard that you distort your image.  This transfers the original image "backwards".  Now stamp as usual.  The new stamped image will not be as dark as an original but don't worry, you can fix this!  I Copic colored my image and then used a Pigma Micron 03 to trace the black outline of the stamp.  I don't have pictures or a fancy video.......just google and you will find many videos on this fun technique!!
