Taylored Expressions / Color Drop!!!

Hello!

Taylored Expressions is adding to their color family today with 

Royal Icing, Tiki Mule, Papaya, and Persimmon.

There will be paper, ink, enamel dots....and more.

My first card focuses on the cardstock colors now available.  I've used the Scattered Blooms Cutting Plate to make lots of blooms for this card in all the new yummy colors!   

I've added a sentiment from one of my favorite sets, Sundry Sentiments.  Notice the flower centers?  Those are the new coordinating enamel dots!!

My second card features all the new ink colors releasing today!  

I used the Wallflowers Stencil along with the Pierced Tiles Cutting Plate for an A7 sized card.

The first project I have to share is a card using the All Planned Out 3 die collection.  I love these types of dies because it plans our your card layout easily and you can adjust it too!  I used the Bits & Blooms stamps and coordinating dies for this card.  My color combination is Dragonfruit, Tropical Punch, Concord Grape, Granny Smith, and Cupcake inks.  Lots of dimension here with foam adhesive along with black gemstones.

My second card uses the Artsy Hearts Foil It Panel.  Mine was done using Rainbow Stars & Sparkle Fun Foil and the Mini Minc.  I added tiny die cut hearts in rainbow colors to the centers.  Adding in the big Hugs sentiment die along with a sentiment strip from Mini Strips Hello Add-Ons.

My last card uses the Bold Beams Stencil along with the Bold Beams Cutting Plate.  My fun color stenciled combination includes Cherry Pop, Pumpkin, Sweet Corn, Candy Corn, and Tropical Punch inks.  I added in the Mega Messages Hey There die for a pop in the center!  To finish, I added coordinating enamel dots.

Pinkfresh Studio / “Whispering Views” Release Blog Hop / Giveaway!

I used the new Blushing Blooms stamps, dies, and stencils.  I created this to be bold and pop on a Navy Blue background with lots of pop with gold accents.  

I used the Blanket Stitched Octagons for a layered look and to frame my card.  My blooms were stenciled in orange and pink Pinkfresh Inks.  Sentiment was gold heat embossed onto Navy cardstock as well.  Gold drops were added to finish the card.

Taylored Expression / Seeds & Such Cardmaking Kit

Happy Tuesday! 

The last Tuesday of June is here and Taylored Expressions is releasing their Seeds & Such Cardmaking Kit that has adorable seed packets and colorful veggies. 

This kit is so AMAZING!!  There are so many ways to use these products!!

I created mini cards that just fit inside the seed packet!!  I started by stamping the seed packets in Salt Water Taffy ink and used the coordinating dies to cut out.  

The images were ink blended with various inks using the stencils and die cut.  They were added to a piece of inked cardstock behind the frame of the seed packet.  To create the cards, I added a layer behind using the Frame in Frame Cutting Plate.  This gave the cards a little twist with the scallop edge!  

Here you can see how they stand up........I love creating mini cards!!

I created a fun shaker card using the new Bits & Pieces - Sparkle Party.  I started with a frame made with the Squiggle Stacklets and Pink Champagne cardstock. 

The Birthday Bash icon images were stamped in Pineapple, Pink Champagne, Peaches 'n Cream, Spearmint, and Gumball inks.  I added a fun split sentiment from Birthday Bash.  Over the top, Unicorn Mist was spritzed for shimmer!

Next up is a card using Icing on the Cake stencil, die and embossing folder along with the NEW Icing on the Cake Additions!!!  I love the new little flags and banner!  I added some citrus goodness with the Fresh Squeezed Dies along with a sprinkling of glitter.

Notice the background??  It's a NEW size of background stamp........5 x 7 size called Funfetti.  I white heat embossed it onto a piece of Spearmint cardstock.

Taylored Expressions / Summer Release

Hello! 

While the temps aren’t exactly screaming summer, Taylored Expressions has their Sweet Summer release this week and we’re hoping it brings with it a little sunshine and warmth! Here are the release details:

Give me all the citrus......especially limes :) BUT I have a sweet card using the new Fresh Squeezed Dies.

After die cutting the limes and lemons, they were ink blended with whatever color was left on my brushes.  I love how it turned out!  They were arranged over a panel that was die cut using the Squiggle Stacklets Dies and layered with the Easy Strips 1/4" in Black Licorice cardstock. To finish, a bold black sentiment from Let's Chill was added.

Next is a card using the Around Town Summer Town.....which is a new variation to use on the Around Town Stencil.

I stenciled the Around Town Stencil with Green Tea Ink and then over top, used the Mini Slim On the Dot Stencil using the same ink on the brush.  After all the images were ink blended and die cut, they were arranged around my scene with foam adhesive.  A frame (from Frame in Frame 3) was added along with a cute sentiment from the new Enjoy Today stamp set.

Taylored Expressions / Snailed It Cardmaking Kit

I had so much fun with the colors and designs for these snails!

This card design features heat embossing for all the snail details as well as the sentiment.  Using the stencils, the snail panel was done using Tropical Punch, Dill Pickle, Latte, Pineapple, and Guava inks.

I created a layered background design featuring the Squiggle Stacklets Die and the Cross Stitch Rectangle Stacklets.  The Build a Scene - Grassy Hills was done using Oat Milk Cardstock.  A few clouds from Stitched Cloud Duo were added to round out the layout.

Next up, is another card using more of the snails from the panel that was ink blended and white heat embossed as described above.  This one features the same colors but different background dies and also includes the new Blooms & Shrooms Die Set.  Look at the details in the dies from this set!

Pinkfresh Studio / “Sunshine & Smiles” Release Blog Hop

I'm excited to join the fabulous group from Pinkfresh Studio for their 

Sunshine & Smiles Blog Hop today!  

Such a great release just in time for the summer months of warmth and beautiful flowers!

Garden Medley is a beautiful new collection featuring a large arrangement of florals including stamp, die, Letterpress plate, and stencils.  

I used the stencils to add color to all the stencils (6) in the set.  The image was die cut and layered over a pink panel of cardstock.  Using the Essentials Blanket Stitched Oval Die Set, a frame was created and layered over the floral panel.  A sentiment from Sunshine & Smiles was gold heat embossed and die cut.  A few gold glitter gems were added to tie into the gold sentiment.  A light spritz of metallic mist over the entire card finished off the design.  Simple.  Clean.

Taylored Expressions / Memorial Day Sale

I chose to work with the Sundry Sentiments as it pairs beautifully with all the florals in the Taylored Expressions collection.

I worked with the Fresh Cut Flowers in the colors of Dragonfruit, Pineapple, Guava, and Rock Candy cardstocks.  I LOVE a black and white strip background.  The flowers were layered over a Foil It Stripes background (I left it black and did not foil).  Added the sentiment from Sundry Sentiments and some Silver Glitter Drops to finish the card.

My second card uses the Create in Quads Ever in Bloom with the ink colors Pineapple, Honey, Pink Champagne, Peapod, and Avocado.  The frame was layered over a Pink Champagne panel that was die cut using the Talking in Circles Piercing Plate.

I added a sentiment from Sundry Sentiments that was foiled using Champagne Fun Foil.  The entire card was spritzed with Unicorn Sparkle Metallic Mist.  Some White Foil Drops were added to tie in the sparkle of the card.
