CAS(E) this Sketch! Guest Designer

(CAS)E this sketch4

Hello!  I am excited to play along with CAS(E) this Sketch! as a Guest this week!  When my sweet friend, Chrissy, emailed and asked me to guest for this challenge, I had to say yes!  You must check out this challenge......so much inspiration and fabulous DT!

I created this card with my daughter in mind.  She LOVES conversation hearts.  I mean LOVE!  I'm not sure how many boxes she goes through every year.  I used some Reverse Confetti products to make this come alive.

I started with diecutting lots of hearts from Heart to Heart Confetti Cuts.  Now these dies have a matching stamp set but I chose to use Fancy Word Coordinates and Lovey Word Coordinates to stamp my conversation heart sentinments.  For my main sentiment, I white heat embossed my sentiment (Lovey Word Coordinates) and added an off set diecut sentiment using Lovey Words Confetti Cuts.  To create my chalkboard effect on my sentiment panel, I rubbed some white pigment ink with my finger!  To finish my card, I used my favorite Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Sweet Hello

Hello!  Welcome to my third post of the day........Sorry to bombard you with lots of posts!!  This is my second post as Guest Designer for My Favorite Things!

Sweet Hello

As we are getting more winter weather....blech, I totally have spring on my mind.  It's my favorite time of the year......not only the warm, mild temperatures but the FLOWERS!  My husband has the green thumb in our family and does most (all) of our planting.  I have fallen in love wtih the new Sketched Blooms stamp set.  It brings me back to my roots of stamping.......just ink and stamps.  This set is perfect for layering colors and creating wonderful color combinations!

My Favorite Things

I stamped all my blooms with the 'stamp off once and stamp" technique.  By using this stamp technique, you get more shades out of a few colors.  I used the MFT Premium Dye Inks for this in shades of Ripe RaspberryRed HotBubblegumCoral Crush, and Gumdrop Green.  I did basic stamping and then diecut my panel with the Blueprints 13 stitched rectangle.

Sweet Hello2

My sentiment was done in bold black using Label Maker Love.  I love adding bold sentiments with gorgeous color!  I stamped the sentiment I wanted, trimmed, and adhered with foam adhesive.  A few clear sequins were added to make this shine!

Thanks so much for joining me here today!

Be my Valentine?

Hello (again)!  I am totally in Valentine mode now!  I love making these types of cards!  This one uses the adorable Whale Hello from Avery Elle.

I started with a white panel and a wave stencil.  Using some Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks, I blended the background over the wave stencil.  Very simple background but I love the look it gives!  All you need is to add the Copic colored whale and a sentiment!

SFYTT with Reverse Confetti

SFYTT

Hello!  I am here sharing a card using the current SFYTT (Sketch For You to Try) over at the Reverse Confetti blog.  Check out the SFYTT post......HERE for all the details!

Reverse Confetti

I thought it would be fun to use the Leaping Lions set for a cute Valentine card with this sketch.    What I love about Jen's sketches are that I can use some of my {hoarded} pattern paper.  I layered some woodgrain and pink polka dot and then used the Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts as my focal point.  My lion was colored in with Copics and layered over the tag.  I added some diecut hearts done with the Love Note Confetti Cuts and embellished with clear Wink of Stella and clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Now the best part is.......there is always a winner every month!  Here are the details:

The winner will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of SFYTT will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 30th of each month.
Check out the SFYTT post......HERE.

So let's see your Reverse Confetti creations this month.....you still have time to get it done!

Pretty Pink Posh Turns 2 Blog Hop!

Love you deeplyt

Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh Turns 2 Blog Hop!  I am joining a ton of friends in helping Paulina celebrate!  There are so many guests over the next few days......you will definitely see some AMAZING inspiration from some of the BEST in the industry!

Seriously, how can I NOT share a shaker card with PPP's amazing sequins?  Paulina recently released Sea Breeze sequins.......in cupped and flat.  I used the Sea Breeze (flat), Sparkling Clear (flat), and Blue Lagoon Iridescent (cupped) sequins.  To create my shaker frame, I've used the PPP shop exclusive Scallop Square Dies.  To create my "waves", I used the Stitched Borders 2 Dies and simply cut the die twice for each "wave" and then inverted it on my shaker frame.  I added the sentiment inside my shaker and the cute whale (from Avery Elle called Whale Hello) with foam adhesive to the front on the waves.

Love you deeply3

Now for all the details of the celebration over the next few days!  Tons of prizes and giveaways so make sure to comment for your chance to win!
