I've used the Play on Words Layering Stencil and coordinating dies to create a card using the Just a Note sentiment.    

My color palette includes Honey, Spearmint, Jalapeno, and Pink Champagne inks.  The sentiment was die cut several times and layered for dimension.  Sentiment was layered over a panel of Spearmint cardstock that was embossed with the Bursting Dots Embossing Folder.

Taylored Expressions / Black Friday Sale!

I'm a day late but wanted to wish you happy shopping for BLACK FRIDAY over at Taylored Expressions!

I created this card using the Midnight Blooms background stamp.  The image was white heat embossed onto a Sugar Cube notecard.  The inks were ombre blended up the panel starting with Blue Corn and then Bleu Cheese.  The lightest color being Bleu Cheese with a very light hand to blend.  

The center was die cut using the A2 Layer Stacklets and then layered with a panel of Blue Corn to make the center panel stand out.  Several leaf sprigs from Garden Variety done out of vellum were tucked behind the sentiment.  The sentiment, from Modern Sentiment Labels, was silver foiled and die cut using coordinating dies and also layered with Blue Corn cardstock.  As a last detail, some Silver Glitter Drops were added.

Taylored Expressions / New Tools Release

Hello!

Taylored Expressions has a new release and it includes lots of new tools in their signature color!  I got to see them all in person at Stamp Joy this fall.  I have a wish list of Teal Tools!  😉

I am featuring a new stencil called Swatch Out Stencil.  When I heard about this product at Stamp Joy......jaw drop.  Absolutely genius!  This stencil gives you a way to document different color swatches and how they blend!  

My project features the Create-in-Quads Celebrate in Style Balloon Bash Dies.  I blended Pink Champagne, Cupcake, and Honey inks for an amazing blend for the background.  Over the background, the Pretty Polka Stencil was done over the blended background using Sea Salt Ink for a subtle look.  The background was die cut using the Mini Slim Postage Stamp Stacklets. 

Using the same colors, the balloons and tassels were die cut from cardstock.  The same Pretty Polka Stencil was stenciled over the balloons to match the background.  The sentiment from Fantastic Birthday was stamped in Honey ink and die cut using coordinating dies.  For a final touch, a light spritz of Unicorn Sparkle Metallic Mist.

Taylored Expressions / Bear Hugs Cardmaking Kit

While I enjoy coloring, I decided to use the coordinating stencils that you can ink blend to add color to your stamped bear images!  

My background is a portion of 2 things......the Favorite Sweater Embossing Folder and one of the Foil It Backgrounds.  I paired that with a white heat embossed sentiment strip.

I again used the stencils to add color along with a white pigment pen for polka dot details.  Some pink snowy hills were added over the Tiny Twinkles Embossing Folder done in Pink Champagne cardstock.

Taylored Expressions / All the Trimmings

Welcome to the Christmas Gifting Release from Taylored Expressions!

The team is back this week with ideas for gifting and sending!

Gingerbread Lane is a set that comes with adorable little houses and with the die set, complimentary icons to embellish!  

After the houses were white heat embossed, they were colored in with Copics.....no shading, just coloring.  Once they were colored, they were die cut and embellished and glitter added.  I made these into tags using the Sundry Sentiments Stamp Set--Holiday.

Next up, is a new set called Arch Noel but works with the dies from the previously released, Arch Nouveau.  

The focal image was gold heat embossed onto Cherry Pop Cardstock, die cut, and layered onto gold cardstock.  This was layered over a new Tag Die called Tag Stacklets 5 (I simply cut off the tag portion).  A matching gold embossed greeting from Sundry Sentiments Stamp Set--Holiday was nestled below.  

I finished this off by adding in my focal image to notecard die cut using the Arched Stacklets for a rounded card.  A simple Plaid Background stamped in Versamark for the background.  Simple embellishments using the Gold Glitter Drops.

Taylored Expressions / Shades of Fall Release

Welcome to the Shades of Fall release from Taylored Expressions!

We all love new colors when it comes to papercrafting.  These new colors will fit in the lineup perfectly filling in some shades we are missing!

I wanted to highlight this fabulous new Hot Fudge and Sweet Corn colors using the Coneflowers die set.  

Once the Coneflowers were die cut from cardstock (Sweet Corn, Green Tea, Dragon Fruit, Candy Corn, and Hot Fudge) they were ink blended to add depth and dimension.  The ink colors used to blend were Latte (new), Eggplant, Sweet Potato Pie, and Brussels Sprouts.  The flowers were layered over an ink blended background die cut using the Pierced Grid Cutting Plate.  This panel was matted with a Hot Fudge panel.  Sentiment is from the Foil It - Simple Strips Occasions.

My second card highlighting these new colors uses Create-in-Quads Ever In Bloom.  This is one of my favorite quad stencils from TE!!!

The blooms were ink blended with Sweet Corn, Latte, Hot Fudge, Peapod, Eggplant, Peaches 'n Cream, and Brussels Sprouts.  The images and background were ink splattered with Gansai Tambi Starry Colors.  The Hello die was framed with the corner floral sprays that were hand trimmed along the corner edges.

Taylored Expressions / Holiday Release

Hello!

It's time for an AMAZING Holiday release from Taylored Expressions!

I have to continually pinch myself that get to work with these products :)

This card features the new Scattered Holiday Blooms along with the new Sketched Plaid Embossing Folder and Folk Joy Die.  I've used a color combination of Bubblegum, Pear, Mulled Wine, and Cherry Pop.  This also features the Foil It panel that was foiled using gold Fun Foil.

This next card features a new bundle called Home for the Holidays.  

I created a little snow globe featuring 3 of the houses that were stenciled with this bundle.  Colors used were Mulled Wine, Banana Cream Pie, Rose Water, Spearmint, and Toffee.  I made a scene with rolling hills that were embellished with All That Glitters Fluffy Snow.

The next card features another bundle called Christmas Time in the City.  This set is SO fun with the stencils and endless color combinations!

This card started with the Around the Town Stencil done in Sprinkles ink.  This is where our little town will be created!  My town icons and features were done using Raspberry Sorbet, Sprinkles, Tropical Punch, Green Tea, Brussels Sprouts, and Cinnamon.  All the images were die cut using dies that coordinate perfectly.

For my last card, it again features the Scattered Holiday Blooms.  I'm sure its no surprise that I worked this set into another card for this release.  It's that good!

I featured these blooms in one of the envelope dies and layered it over the Postage Stamp Stacklets.  The background was splattered with Gansai metallics and layered onto an embossed background done with Dotted Diamonds.  Ink colors used:  Raspberry Sorbet, Green Tea, and Sprinkles.

It's time for our big Christmas release!
